Not sure how that works. Howry will probably make the team. If they haven’t made up their minds yet, then how Marquis, Howry, Gaudin and Cotts pitch this week could influence who goes to postseason. I agree, Cotts would give them another lefthanded pitcher out of the pen, but I wouldn’t leave out any of the other pitchers for the sake of including him.

I think you could see Cotts in the bullpen as a situational left-hander. I think Hoffpauir and Ward are essentially the same player. I would take Hoffpauir personally. Aside from that homer in Florida, Ward hasn’t done all that much, but he has “experience,” whatever that means. He still can’t hit for shite.
