It’s an invite to spring training not a guaranteed contract…..I posted earlier this week the NHL lockout was about over and got told not to believe it well it’s over
Robert, everyone was saying a month ago that it was close. Then, there was Bettman and his fuck buddies sitting side by side, saying things like “this is the hill we will die on” and “for the union to tell everyone we’re close is unfair”. Everyone else was saying the same thing that it wasn’t looking good. It seemed like the owners caved in.
Yea, the Dontrelle story is a non-story. He likely won’t make the team. If he does, it will be something of a feat, since the Cubs starting staff, while not world-class, is decent this coming year.
Thank God hockey is back! Robert, I’m with you, I hate basketball, though I do follow college a bit. NBA? Not even on my radar screen. Dontrelle Willis; man, this guy was THE SHIT, and seemed to just lose it overnight. I wish he had something left but I just don’t see it. But as Wayne Gretzky once said, “100% of the shots you don’t take, don’t go in the net!”

Fehr caused it to collapse a month ago ….thank god it’s back cause with football almost over hockey is the only sport I watch I hate basketball

Genre….did you by chance happen to hear who is looking at 13 years in prison for beating up his wife or girlfriend or whatever the hell she was?
