…so, where are the bats and relievers?

The season has officially started…and the Pirates just swept the Cubs at Wrigley. WTF?

Nice to see that the Cardinals are in dumpster-fire mode.

Speaking of fire, the Fire and Passion have won two straight games and are second in MLS’ Eastern Conference.

    Little victories, y’all.

    From another blog:
“I know it’s still really early in theseason, but something has to be done about the bullpen. Signing pitchers that are over the hill or never were as good as people thought they should have been and hoping Bosio can work wonders is not a sustainable plan. Right now you have a starting staff that is once again leading baseball in ERA but is getting little reward for it because they can’t leave the game with any confidence that the bullpen can hold a lead. You’re about to see the scenario that led Maddon to overworking Chapman in the World Series played out over an entire season. Montgomery, Edwards, Jr., and Davis can’t be the only three relievers that the manager can trust to not blow leads.”
    I totally agree!
