I never heard of this college. It’s a Division II school in West Virginia. And supposedly, he set all kinds of records for Division II.
I’ve been screaming for the Bears to get a quarterback and while I would have preferred them drafting one, you just never know with this one. Yes, he will have to get past the awful mismanagement and coaching. IF that happens, the Bears could have a chance at finally having a quarterback. I have zero faith in Justin Fields staying healthy. I also have zero faith in a decent offensive line. Let’s be honest, this franchise is known for drafting and signing busts at an alarming rate. Darnell Wright could be the next in line for that.
We also have to keep in mind that Ryan Poles is a fucking idiot by not only signing Nathan Peterman last year, but also re-signing him for this year. This should be a fireable offense. But with the Bears, signing the statistically worst quarterback in NFL history is worthy of an extension.
Tyson Bagent should be the backup quarterback. No more Nathan Peterwhacker and P.J. Walker. They should possibly find another undrafted quarterback to sign as the third string as well. Because those undrafted quarterbacks have way more potential than the two who are already on the team.
Fuck Nathan Peterman.

Does anyone listen to the Score anymore. Had it on today and now Holmes has been contaminated by working with Bernstein everyday. It might have been the dumbest radio sports show ever.

I don’t listen much anymore. It’s unfortunate because I want to get as much information about the teams I follow than trying to look online. I sometimes go to ESPN 1000. But they tend to venture away from sports at times.
I use to listen to The Score almost religiously from 2002 up until 2008. Then took it down a notch or two from then until 2016. Ever since then, not much.
Too many times the hosts switched. I refuse to listen to the morning show because David Haugh is trash. Dan Bernstein use to be great back in the day. Ever since he was suspended back in 2015 (for his comments on Cheryl Scott), he’s acted completely differently. And you’re right about Holmes being contaminated by him.
Spiegal and Parkins are un-listenable.
I miss the days of Boers and Bernstein, Doug Buffone and Mike North.

It’s funny that you guys mentioned how bad the score has become. Today and yesterday I was doing some work out in my back yard. I listened to the score on my boombox.

OK, I’m calmer now, so let me give a run down.
1) Mully and Haugh.
Can somebody give me an answer as to why these two fucking douche wads even have a goddamn show? Mulligan has suck donkey balls from day one, and Haugh is 100 times worse! Every time I hear Mulligan open a segment by going MMMMUUUUUUUUUULLLLLY AND HAUGH, I want to reach through the radio and rip his goddamned throat out!!!!! JESUS FUCKING CHRIST, I HATE THIS FUCKING GUY!!!!!!!!!! Haugh, I don’t even know where to start with this cocksucker. One of the most pompous, arrogant “thinks he knows it all but knows absolutely jack fucking shit” assholes on radio today. I think you get the idea. Both of these motherfuckers should be thrown screaming from a helicopter.
Bernstein, Holmes, and Rahimi.
I’ve never been the biggest fan of Lawrence Holmes. I always saw him as been just adequate, OK in his job, but nothing special. The biggest mistake the score ever made was their complete mishandling and mistreatment of Jason Goff. Goff was a hell of a talent, and Holmes actually did very well with him. Bernstein lost about 10 steps the day Terry Boers retired. Boers gave him an edge that made the Boers and Bernstein show must listen radio. Now he’s just kind of there too, just like Holmes. Leila Rahimi isn’t bad, and she deserves a better fate.
Spiegel and Parkins.
PASS! Matt Spiegel is a fucking idiot. Never liked him, never will. I’ve never even bothered with Danny Parkins. This guy is useless as tits on a bull. Afternoons I listen to a lot of politics, and in accordance with our friend FroDogs wishes, that’s as far as I’ll go with that subject.
The only other guy even worth mention is somebody who is misused as badly as Jason Goff, and that’s Steve Rosenbloom. Why this guy isn’t on during the afternoon drive is a complete mystery. He should be replacing Parkins if there was any justice in the world.
So yeah, sports radio is a fucking wasteland at the moment, and I don’t see it getting better anytime soon.

While Rahimi is my main crush in Chicago television, trying to hear her speak over Bernstein and Holmes is difficult to listen to. Three is too many.
Rosenbloom is absolutely terrific. Unfortunately, I keep forgetting to listen Saturday mornings around 11:00 just to hear him and Mark Grote for an hour or two. They should definitely replace Parkins and Spiegel.
ESPN 1000 isn’t so bad these days. I could not tolerate Dan McNeil when he was there and definitely not when he was at The Score. Him getting fired a few years back was music to my ears.
Jonathon Hood and David Kaplan are pretty good in the mornings. And with them being the new home of the Bears, I have listened even more.

I forgot a couple of points Fro.
1) I never liked Mike North. Always struck me as a pompous douche wagon who had a really weird affection for the Mafia. I hope the asshole is back at his fucking hot dog stand. THAT’S a job he’s actually qualified for.
2) One thing that they’ve been doing for quite a while now, is their corporate sponsors. Every fucking thing the say, every fucking caller on their (insert random sponsor here) hotline. EVERY FUCKING THING AT THAT GODDAMN STATION IS SPONSORED BY SOMEBODY!!!!!! FOR FUCKS SAKE, IT’S EVEN BLED INTO THE FUCKING CUBS BROADCAST!!!!!
I really have gotten to the point where I don’t need to listen to them anymore. I was out in my car today, and I had an CD that I’d that I made many years ago that contained 3 different segments of “Who Ya Crappin”. Damn man, that really brought me back. I actually didn’t realize just how much I’ve missed Terry Boers. Boers made his show with Bernstein must listen to radio. Sadly today, there is absolutely no one left who has that quality anymore, not even Bernstein.
