Would you like current bust Justin Fields and his inability to throw the ball away under pressure?
Or how about the statically worst quarterback in NFL history by the name of Nathan Peterman?
On behalf of logical Bears’ fans around the globe, please take one or both of these quarterbacks away from our team. Please.
With Fields, you have a bust who can’t pass or read defenses. But hey, he’s under contract for at least another season. With Peterwhacker, you’re getting a serviceable 38.4 quarterback rating, four touchdowns and 13 interceptions total in his worthless career.
Also, a big “FUCK YOU” to Leonard Floyd. He didn’t do a damn thing with the Bears and very ironic of him to sack Aaron Rodgers (when both play for other teams).
PATHETIC.

If only somebody would take these fuckwad douche copters off of our hands! Of course, if that happened Ryan Poles would try to re-sign one or both of them. Don’t believe me? I refer you to one Dylan Cole.

This kind of bullshit can’t be made up.

I’m still feeling infuriated by that debacle of a game. All offseason it was all, oh, oh, the Bears are going to be the terror of the League. Augh! Justin Fields has weapons and is going to be so deadly! Yeah . . . they looked as good as they have since 2014, when their Super Bowl window officially came to a close. It looked for a season in 2018 that they might be back, but . . . they double-doinked that away. And now we’re right back in the wilderness where we were 2014-2017.
For gosh sakes, this team sucks no matter who is at the helm, whereas the Packers can effortlessly flip between quarterbacks, or jettison Mike McCarthy for Mike Lefleur and not skip a beat! (I remember a game SIX YEARS AGO when the Bears got their butts whipped by a backup Packers quarterback at home in a game they were favored in!) But as for us, oh no, we have to burn through the qbacks in Grossman, Orton, Cutler, McCown, Hoyer, Barkely, Glennon, Trubisky, Foles, Dalton, and now Fields! And . . . we have to burn through in coaches in Smith, Trestman, Fox, Nagy, and now Eberflus!
I swear to you, on Sunday the Bears were making the exact same mistakes I saw them making six years ago. Nothing ever changes! I can see why you guys are so bitter and cynical.

I think I remember Chucky mentioning how asinine it was for either Lovie or Trestman (or maybe both) that starters didn’t play much or at all in the preseason.
I do feel it’s important that they play. With three preseason games, it shouldn’t be this difficult. Starters play one quarter in the first, first two in the second and into the fourth in the third.
Fields plays 10-15 snaps in the preseason this year. What happens? Out of sync along with the entire offense.
September 13, 2023 at 3:38 am
The flip side to your logic, Fro Dog, while I do acknowledge your point and you are right to some degree, is that if Fields or any other starter happens to get injured in what amounts to a purposeless game, the coach who had him playing invariably looks like a moron. Playing in the preseason risks injury for the sake of reps. Tony Romo was injured in the 2016 preseason, and at the time it looked like the Cowboys were screwed. It just so happened that Dak Prescott was lying in wait to take Romo’s job away.
Bear in mind, (ha-ha, pun) that two of the Bears starting offensive linemen couldn’t play Sunday due to injuries they had sustained before the start of the regular season. Although those might have been caused by practice or training camp, not necessarily the preseason.
September 13, 2023 at 10:16 am
John, I’m going to take that coin and stand it on its edge. The fact that Fields didn’t play more than 10-15 snaps in the preseason left him completely unprepared last Sunday. When you are that unprepared you run the risk of serious injury. So, this is actually a case of “you’re damned if you do, damned if you don’t”. So, I’ll go with being damned if I do by playing them in preseason to get them prepared to play on week 1.
You are right about one thing though John, and it’s something I’ve been saying since the Wannstedt administration. Every fucking coach has been a carbon copy of each other. And that tells me that they really aren’t head coaches, but just glorified babysitters. Whether you believe me or not, the fucking McCaskeys are the real coaches. And that explains why they’ve sucked donkey balls for so long.

They just posted the staff predictions for the Bears-Bucs game this Sunday. Some of these goddamned fucktards never learn. Out of the 9 staff members making predictions, 5 of them are still picking the Bears. It’s utterly astonishing to me how these idiots get jobs in sports media. Assholes like Mulligan and Haugh aren’t qualified to sweep the fucking studio floor.
September 15, 2023 at 10:14 pm
Mulligan wasn’t this shitty. That was until David Huh? arrived to The Score. Just another horrible decision by the previous boss at The Score. That was the same guy who brought back Dan McNeil a few years ago.
Brian Hanley ended up going to ESPN 1000. But he isn’t there anymore either.
September 16, 2023 at 10:35 am
I remember Hanley very well. He was really good, especially about baseball. Who was the old boss you referred to Fro? Is it Mitch Rosen? Isn’t he still there? At any rate, he is a useless fuck. The last guy the had that was worth a damn was Terry Boers. Goddamn, I miss that man. I think it’s been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that he made Dan Bernstein worth listen to, because he sure as hell isn’t now. Holmes has never been must-listen-to, Parkins sucks, and Matt Speigel has always been a worthless moron. Get him away from the subject of baseball and he’ll make Mike North sound intelligent. Then we have perhaps one of the biggest blunders ever, Bruce FUCKING Levine. Thank GAWD all he does is baseball. All he does is ramble on with his bullshit word salad. It takes him 15 minutes to ask one fucking question. Another supreme blunder was letting Jason Goff go. He was so damn good at everything, especially when was paired with Boers. Ah, the good old days, you know, when Chicago had sports was worth listening to.

It was a dipshit by the name of Jimmy deCastro. This fuckwad put David Huh? on the morning show and basically forced Hanley out. He also made the change to get Goff and Spiegal off the daily lineup (they were offered weekend/fill-in roles).
We all know what happened two years later with McNeil being fired.
When I was in college, the lineups were at their best. I know you don’t like Mike North. But I listened to him, Huebner, Jen Patterson and that other lady (forgot her name; but she was cool). I think it was Mulligan and Buffone right after. A year later, Mully and Hanley from 10:00-12:00 and Murph followed after. Then Boers and Bernstein from 2:00-6:00.
The Score started going down the shitter in 2009.
September 17, 2023 at 12:23 pm
You had me nervous for a minute Fro. I thought that was a current article you posted. But I wouldn’t be a bit surprised if the suits at the Score gave McNeil another shot there. They are THAT dumb.
