As if this season wasn’t already a shitshow, the news broke about an hour ago that Dick Butkus has left the world. He was there much before my time, but I’ve heard so many stories and have seen countless footage of him playing hard on every snap.
He was a man who ate, slept and breathed the Chicago Bears since he came to the team. I am not here to make jokes. But I truly believe that this pathetic dis-organization’s lack of success in recent memory did a number on him as well as some others in recent years. For guys like him and Doug Buffone, no one loved the Bears more than those guys did. It’s unfortunate.

But, concerning the Bears-Commanders game, I can’t even listen to it much less watch it because the Bears changed their radio affiliate to Sirius XM and ESPN radio. But, oh, boy, as of writing this they are up 10-0. That’s adorable. I can’t wait for them to blow it.

Also, the Bears are ready more of those idiotic horizontal passes to the wide receiver for an incomplete or two yards at best. Glorious.
