Stop if you’ve heard this before: The referees ruled a Bear player down by contact despite not being touched. Shades of the playoff game in 2019 with Allen Robinson. But it didn’t really matter.
Stop if you’ve heard this before: The defense gave up a touchdown on the first drive of the game. I know last week was a rarity when a team was actually stopped (a fluke missed field goal). Can we please stop witnessing this shit? What a terrible excuse for a defense. It would help if they could actually cover receivers. It would also help if they could stop the run. But just like the last 30 years, they can’t do any of that.
Stop if you’ve heard this before: The Bears made it tough on themselves with the countless penalties early on in the game. It’s difficult to get in a rhythm offensively when players keep making stupid decisions.
Stop if you’ve heard this before: The Bears are all but mathematically eliminated from playoff contention at the halfway point of the season.
I feel bad for Tyson Bagent. He isn’t even going to get a chance to help this team win tonight because the defense doesn’t want to come to work.

It appeared that there was miscommunication on that interception. Either Moore was supposed to stop or Bagent threw to the wrong spot. Regardless, the defense is the reason why this game is lost.

Again, the defense does this all the time. Give up points on the first drive of the game and the drive right before halftime. EVERY. FUCKING. TIME.
