Training camp is underway.

Alright, it’s a little earlier this year (fuck Roger Goodell). But it’s time once again for our beloved Bears to work again. As it goes every year, the following is said: If you are looking for new ways to lose, injuries, coaches lying about injuries and flat-out have your intelligence insulted, then the Chicago Bears are the team for you.

Of course, many are saying “this year is different.” I am sure they said the same thing when Cade McNown came to this franchise 25 years ago.

What I’m trying to say is that there are dumbass radio hosts in Chicago who call us Bears fans “cynical” or “always negative”. While that is true in the grand scheme of it all, we are being realistic. It’s a reality that this franchise has given us nothing but negative experiences over the last 35 years. Until they show that is different and do it consistently, we have every right to feel this way. These are not opinions. These are facts.

None of us know if Caleb Williams is going to be a star quarterback. He could end up like Mahomes or he could end up like our old friend, McNown. If you’re optimistic, great. But for me, I can only pray this works out. This is the Bears we are talking about. Even if something is going great like a wide receiver playing well for a couple games in a row, it just falls apart in some way such as an injury or they just suck for good after. We’ve had many examples of “false hope” of a quarterback playing well after a game or two and just suck ass after. Some of those reasons could be because of coaching and others are because that quarterback does suck. I also feel that the coaching has ruined careers of many potentially great players for this franchise.

I am not going to call The Score or ESPN 1000 after hearing Caleb Williams threw an interception in practice. But I’m also not going to call saying how optimistic I am. It’s a “wait-and-see” approach. This team has to prove that the offense is going to be competent. The defense needs to prove that they will stop giving up points on the first drive of every game, right before the half, right after the half and right before the game ends to beat them. All of this shit has been going on for decades (literally) and hasn’t changed. So this year’s version has to prove to us that they are not “those” Bears.

What are your thoughts to this? Does anyone think the Bears will be a competent football team this year?

The first preseason game is a week from Thursday.

Their record will be 5-12 this year, and all of these idiot radio hosts will look like the dumb fucks that they are. You know it, I know it, and so does everybody else that has two brain cells to rub together. I’m 99% certain that Caleb Williams will be a bust because the Bears are fucking useless at developing QB’s. They can’t even work with established QB’s. If you don’t believe me, just look up Jay Cutler and get back to me. Add to all of that the fact that they can’t get decent offensive and defensive coordinators to save their lives. Until the McCaskeys are gone, it’s going to be more of the same shit we’ve seen since the day they dismissed Ditka.

There are so many ways for this to go south regarding Caleb Williams. Yes, it could be coaching (Trubisky, Fields), or it could be plain other teams readjusting better than the Bears can counter (Manziel), or it could be the albatross of bad play amid promising, or what could have been promising, potential (Cutler, Fields), or it could be plain draft busting (Trubisky), or . . . it could be a nice injury bug (Kevin ‘first pick’ White) or a propensity for the tearing of ACLs (Derrick Rose). Or it might not even end up being on Caleb after all, it could be that his entire offensive line goes down in a single game on torn ACLs (XD), or the same happens to DJ Moore or Rome Odunze, or the wonderful 2016 problems of trashiness and overall suck crop up again this year like they did last year.

I’ve seen it all like you, Fro Dog. Can’t wait to watch that ball get forced into triple coverage.

I just don’t want to hear people complain after the first two games when the Bears are 0-2 and looking even worse than last year. This could get ugly fast. I’m anxious like the rest to see what happens.

Of course, the entire offense is “looking great” in practice. How often have we seen/heard that?

Alright. It looks like the Bears are going to repeat their shitty history by not bothering to play their starters in preseason games. They have four games to try to get this team to play together for at least a quarter on Thursday and instead, the second stringers are starting.

This just looks so much when Trestman and Nagy hardly played the starters in the preseason. What happened when the regular sesason started? Those teams came out flat and playing like shit.

I keep saying this, those are the orders coming from the suits, or in this case, the goddamned McCaskeys. Oh, please don’t play the starters, they might get hurt and then they can’t play in the regular season. This is why I refuse to get all hyped when they hire a new head coach. Every fucking coach since Wannstedt has been classic cut and paste replacements for the previous shit rats who couldn’t get the McCaskeys shitty ideas to work. Until this team is sold to someone who has a fucking clue, we can expect more of the same shit that we’ve seen in the last 30 shitty years that these goddamned McCaskeys have put us through.

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
