Where do you want to start? The interceptions by Williams? Him overthrowing and underthrowing countless times? Or how about throwing in double and triple coverage? The shitty offensive line?
Here’s a surprise: I am not going to blame the defense. The last two touchdowns were off of a shitty penalty on a punt and then the strip sack on Williams that gave the Colts a short field. It’s “Vintage Bears” with the defense giving the team a chance to win and the offense is garbage. And yes, the defense had a chance to stop the Colts at the 2:00 warning. But when they are exhausted as they were, fuck it.
Shane Waldron is a fucking idiot. Early on in the game, they would run the ball for six yards. Next play is a pass? Why? Just keep running until the other team stops you. Nope. Let’s just pass for an incomplete and eventually, punting it away.
Teven Jenkins is not very good at football. Too many penalties and he can’t guard anyone. Last I checked, his position is “guard” and he can’t do that very simple task.
The Colts had so many penalties that gave the Bears so many chances to take control of this game. We’ve seen this so many times over the years.
Matt Eberf-LOSE is a fucking idiot. They finally score a touchdown and he calls a timeout? Hey, dumbass. There’s only 8:41 left in the game and your team is still trailing. Either have your team ready to go for two or get the field goal unit out there. Confusion on the sidelines in that manner is a sign of lack of communication. That’s on you, dipshit.
This team lacks communication, discipline and urgency. Again, this is the same shit we’ve seen for DECADES. Why won’t this ever be different? With the way other teams in the division and conference are starting off, there is absolutely no way they make the playoffs now.
And last, but not least, Justin Fields and the Steelers are 3-0. This is proof that it’s an organizational failure of drafting and developing players.

I’m glad you mentioned Justin Fields, Fro Dog, and you’re right. Every player this team touches turns to rust. Except DJ Moore last year. But even then it doesn’t matter because the team is so bad. Bring back Mitchell Trubisky and I’d have told you we’re in 2019. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Remember the good ole days when the Bears felt like an elite team that you could rely upon? That’s my nostalgia for 2010-2013 speaking, when they had Urlacher, Briggs, Tillman, Forte, Gould, and, yes, even Cutler. Back in a time when they had the ability to win meaningful games, though never enough of them to get anywhere. Now what do we have? This offense hasn’t changed a bit in five years, and things look identical to last year! We are the new Lions! SOB!!!!

Those early Cutler years were fun, there were times when the shitty O-line didn’t matter, he was going hit a playmaker with a dime regardless. I think a huge chunk of his INTs during that period were 50-50 balls where the DB just won the battle, it happens.
Williams seems like he can do that. By later in the game he was spreading the ball around to his receivers, including that easy TD to Kmet who was just standing in the endzone waiting for the ball on that play. Kmet was basically invisible week 1 and week 2. This week Khalil Herbert was invisible, I think he only had one touch? That can’t happen, especially since Herbert is one of those backs that can move the pile and fight for an extra yard or two when it matters. There is growing chemistry between Williams and Odunze, that is fun to watch.
You guys keep voicing your rants and frustrations with this team, as you should, and I’ll comment on improvements as I see them week to week, unless there aren’t any.

John….I’m going to really date myself here. I remember the good old days from the 80’s! Those days they had some really unique players who knew how to play. They also had some wild personalities too. Mongo, McMahon, Singletary, Thayer, Hampton, damn, I could just go on! They were fun to watch. And they knew when to celebrate too. AFTER THE GAME ENDED! And boy, when they lost, they were pissed. That was the mentality that guys like Ditka and Buddy Ryan instilled into those guys. There is not a trace of that now, and it sucks because they desperately need that now, not this “honor the football” bullshit we hear today. Remember when Trestman was here, he had the “toolbox of concepts”, or Dick Jaurons “stacking wins”? I damn near went insane with that shit. Now we have “honor the football”. The Bears not only need new leadership on the field, but the McCaskeys HAVE to sell this team. This will continue until that happens. I’m not even sure the McCaskeys even want to win anymore. It sure doesn’t look like it. If they do, they have one hell of a strange way of showing it.

I find it obnoxious that these dumbfucks in the media were really hyping up the Bears since the draft saying they were going to win nine games at the very least.
While us here (most of us at least), said the Bears would at-best get five or six wins. At best. And guess what? They would be lucky to win more two more games this season the way this shit is looking.
Ryan Poles can fuck off. The guy who was an offensive lineman is responsible for the worst offensive line in the league this year. Most of us here saw this coming.

Fro, I posted on May 15th that the Bears would go 5-12 this season. I think that prediction might actually be too optimistic. Williams is showing all the signs of being a complete bust. And yes, I’m still putting this fucking mess on the goddamned McCaskeys. Every fuckin’ one of them. Hell, if I could, I’d fucking blame Michael McCaskey too! In fact, I think I can.
