Exhausted. Again, that’s what I felt this entire game. They looked like shit for the most part and yet, found a way to win. Of course, we all will take this. A report came out that Cole Kmet and others on offense had to sit down with dumbfuck Shane Waldron to tell him that his play-calling is trash. While it improved a bit today, it’s still trash overall.
Caleb Williams | He definitely needs help (see below). He continues to overthrow receivers and run backwards on other passes. This shit needs to stop. If the game plan makes him stay in the pocket, then he needs to tell Shane Waldron to fuck off.
D’Andre Swift | It’s about damn time Shane Waldron stopped being as stupid. RUN. THE. BALL. It’s not that difficult. Swift was the major contributer to this win. Some big first downs and then that long run for the touchdown. He lead the team in both rushing and receiving. I don’t think it can be like this every week. Other players need to step up.
Offensive line | If I’m Ryan Poles, next draft, use the first four or five picks on offensive linemen. I am not kidding. Nate Davis is trash and plays like he doesn’t give a shit. I am tired of Teven Jenkins and Darnell Wright having false start after false start. And all those sacks on Williams, there would have been many more to the total if it wasn’t for the referees being generous.
Defense | “Bend, but don’t break” is absolutely annoying. The Rams only punted once in this game. They got into the red zone four times. After Swift had that long run for the touchdown, the defense promptly gave up a touchdown in the grand total of 2:42. And that interception to seal the deal? Stafford clearly got smacked in the head. Next time, the referees may not be so kind. This needs to improve.
Penalties | 10 penalties of 84 yards. Inexcusable and more proof that this team lacks discipline. This is nothing new. Enough of this shit.
The Panthers are in town next week for a noon start.

Where in the goddamn blue hell did this stupid fucking bitch come from? If you don’t like what say, or don’t our opinions, tough shit. You’re mistaking us, and me in particular, for people who give shit about you or your fucking dipshit opinion. In other words: TAKE YOUR FUCKING OUTRAGE AND YOUR BULLSHIT OPINIONS, STICK THEM UP YOUR MOTHERFUCKING ASS, AND GET FUCK OUT OF HERE. AND DON’T COME BACK, ASSHOLE.

Hey, whoever posted that comment several ones up, do not use my user handle. That was NOT posted by me. I, the real John, do not use profanity in tirades against other people.

Fro dog, is there any way you can ban this guy?
September 29, 2024 at 4:56 pm
Taken care of. I’ll be moderating this throughout the night. Good Lord. He’s such a tool.
September 29, 2024 at 4:56 pm
Hopefully, he calls his dad up and asks if he can get a hug.
September 29, 2024 at 5:16 pm
So I had to turn on comment moderation. The guy who lives in his parents basement was continuing his useless crusade. Then he used a VPN to change his IP to another country.
I am pretty sure I have all the regulars approved. If not, I will get a notification due to email and IP history. Just keep using your usual email.
It’s lovely stuff.

Fro, do you have any idea who this punk-ass bitch is? Is it anyone who have trolled us in the past? I think I must have missed one of these jagoffs posts. Goddamnit, I hate people like them!
September 29, 2024 at 5:25 pm
No idea. It came out of nowhere. What I found even more humourous is that he said the federal authorities were going to come after us. I’m like, okay. I’ve already been senetenced to life by watching the Bears every week from September to January.
September 29, 2024 at 5:30 pm
Come after us? What for, exercising our first amendment rights?
From, I’m not going any further than that. If I keep going, I’ll get too political, and I’m not going to piss you off any more than you are right now.

Don’t even sweat it. I am certain he was trying to get it to that point on here. In any case, we’re moving on to the discussion of why Matt Eberf-LOSE and Shane Waldron are still shitty coaches.
September 29, 2024 at 5:47 pm
Can we also discuss why in the fuck they’re still employed?
September 29, 2024 at 5:53 pm
It’s all about George doing everything he can to prove he will be right about hiring Poles and Eberf-LOSE.
The fact that Poles has had three years to fix this offensive line and still hasn’t proves he is incompetent. Just like the idiots before him such as Pace and Emery. Just total trash.

Also, wondering how Jayden Daniels did today?
26/30 for 233, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. He also had 47 yards rushing on 8 runs.
The Football Team is now 3-1 and look to be contending in the NFC East.

Fro Dog, thanks for kicking that clown out of our dark corner of the internet. He was such a jerk.
I’m glad that Cole Kmet had the sense to talk to Shane Waldron about the performance of the offense across the last three weeks. Seeing that he has dealt with at least three OCs of his own, I think he’s got wisdom.
I can see why anyone might jealously eye Jayden Daniels over Caleb Williams at this point, but I’m not so sure. With this season’s Geno Smith-esque resurgence of Sam Darnold, a guy who everyone thought was just another bust-turned-backup, and the utter implosion of Deshaun Watson, who once could play as well as CJ Stroud is right now (and I’m hearing murmurings likewise about Jalen Hurts going the way of Carson Wentz), anything can happen. Jayden Daniels may very well be on a meteoric rise to stardom or flame-out, whilst Caleb Williams could be on a slow but steady path upward to reliable good play . . . or he could just be a Justin Fields 2.0.

John,
No worries my man. You know I appreciate your support here.
We all know that yesterday’s win was ugly. I forgot to put in the recap that Tory Taylor was also a major factor in the win. And that last punt pinned the Rams inside the 10. When it comes to Poles, a blind squirrel does find a nut every now and then.
September 30, 2024 at 10:45 pm
I doubt Williams ever becomes a Fields 2.0, he won’t run like Fields. Williams is a smart runner, he may try to gain 5-7 yards on a read option play, but he will slide and down himself before he gets hit. With our bad O-line, Fields would just be thinking endzone or bust on half his runs, and then get hit hard and not get a roughness call.

So, the staff predictions are out for the Bears/Panthers game this Sunday. Everyone there has the Bears winning, and some of them, rather easily. And that makes me nervous. Never mind all the ideas about this being a trap game, these radio fanboy dorks are always trying to paint a rosy picture about the Bears, even when they totally suck donkey balls. To me, this is really being dishonest with the fans. This team won’t be going anywhere this season. But if they truly do make some decent progress over the course of the season, then perhaps there might be some hope for next year. But not sooner than that. Eber-LOSER needs to prove that he knows what he’s doing with a team that does have some actual talent. But personally, I still have serious doubts about him. I might be a bit cynical, but after more than 30 years of watching this bullshit, I think I have a good reason to be. What do ya think Fro?

Picks are unanimous in favor of a win! Yup definitely a trap game. Bears better bear down like the fight song says, especially the defense. Dalton occasionally has great games, don’t let this be one of them!
October 4, 2024 at 8:39 pm
Dave, don’t be too surprised if the Bears do lose this one. The Bears seem to have the weirdest tendency to make garbage teams like the Panthers look like Super Bowl contenders, and guys like Andy Dalton look like Joe Montana. I don’t know about anybody else, but I will not trust this team, or emotionally invest in them as well, until they start making the post season. After that, we’ll see. I have been down this road too many times to have them fool me again.
