God save the fans. | Bears 35 Jaguars 16

by

It’s another one of those “they couldn’t get away with this trash against a competent team” games. Yes, I am happy they won. No, I am not satisfied with this. Mainly the offensive play-calling. Thankfully, the referees and defense bailed this team out.

Caleb Williams | Very efficient against a bad team. Four touchdown passes. The interception was shitty. As I said in the previous post, that was on Shane Waldron for the shitty call. It was 3rd and inches. It was so “Bears” that a pass play was called. This shit is fucking annoying. Caleb Williams needs to tell Shane Waldron to eat shit the next time a play like that is called in that scenario.

Shane Waldron | Read above. This guy is a fucking idiot. The game was still in reach for the Jaguars when it was 21-3 and 28-10. I forgot which drive it was in the second half. But the Bears were stopped and a “holding” penalty was called on the Jaguars. I put that in quotations because it wasn’t a penalty and yet, the referees saved them. Then a few plays later on another 3rd down stop, the Jaguars shot themselves in the foot with another holding penalty (that time, it was one). Imagine if they played a team more competent. It would be too close for comfort at the very least.

Defense | “Only” 16 points given up. First drive of the game? Points. Again, this is basically routine for this team and it needs to stop. And I’ll repeat what I said about if they played a more competent team. This defense has yet to stop a real team. We will see in two weeks if they can be better.

Doug Pedersen | I can’t stand this fucking guy. I haven’t since he was the backup for the Packers when I was growing up. Then the playoff game years ago when he coachced the Eagles. Fuck him.

Bye week is next. Then the Commanders on the road. I am going to shower and eat lunch.

I didn’t watch the game. From the way you describe it Fro, it looks like a good choice. I have a set routine for Sunday mornings. Forgive me Fro, but it’s actually political. I watch “This Week” and “Press the Meet” with my dad. I’ve been doing this for years now, mainly because there are certain people I want to throw out of an airplane at 30,000 feet without a parachute. That’s as far as I’ll go with it. As for the game, I did switch to see the score and saw the Bears up 35-10 early in the fourth. Now, my question to you guys is this: With well over 10 minutes left in the game, WHY THE FUCK DIDN’T THE GODDAMNED BEARS GO OVER 40 FUCKING POINTS????

It’s another case of the Bears getting a decent sized lead, then taking their foot off the gas pedal and going into “prevent mode” and just coasted to the finish line. Can you imagine Mike Ditka doing that shit? NO!!!! HE FUCKING WOULDN’T!!!

I’m so goddamn sick and fucking tired of this bullshit! You know what……it’s still FUCK THIS GODDAMNED TEAM!!!!

Looks like I’m gonna be the optimistic glass half full guy here again. I only get upset about losses anyway. The Bears whooped that ass with an efficient offensive attack and the defense forced turnovers, once again holding a team under 21 points for the 12th time in a row going back to last season. I suppose the Jaguars not spending the week there like the Bears did probably helped make the game so lopsided.

I understand the frustration, guys but at this point I feel you’d be upset if this was the final score of the damn Superbowl. Bears won it all but oh no, they gave up a field goal on the first opponent drive, they still suck. Lol, just joking. Let’s get our banged up Bears back during the bye.

Dave, we love you man. You are the glue that keeps this corner of the internet intact after Chucky tries to cut it up.

I still feel some of the play-calling on offense was trash. Yes, the defense had a ton of injuries in the last week or so and still forced turnovers. The bye week is needed at this time.

Yeah, I glad they’re getting the bye now instead of late November or early December like the past few years. Their schedule still sucks ass though, with two Thursday games coming up, ON Thanksgiving Day and the day after Christmas, and they have games on the Sundays before too. Just another reason why Roger FUCKING Goodell should set on fire and locked in a portable toilet.

chucky. “Just another reason why Roger FUCKING Goodell should set on fire and locked in a portable toilet” is one of your best lines ever…I laughed out loud….is Virginia still breathing?

    1. Thanks genre. Glad you got a chuckle out of it.
    2. Unfortunately, yes.

Remember, we’re 4-2 at this point, not 2-4. But I do agree that it is wise to take heed. The Bears thus far have only been beating teams who are all abysmally bad. That Commanders game is going to be a more interesting measuring stick. The real struggle is going to come in November when the Bears start playing the NFC North, which apparently has the best record for a division since 1970. There is a chance that all four teams could make playoffs . . . but if it turns out to only be three, I think we can all guess who will be on the outside looking in. I still can’t believe that Sam Darnold is this good.

Sam Darnold and the Vikes will come back to Earth and lose a couple games soon. Lions might have slight issues on defense going forward without their star edge rusher Hutchinson who is now out for the season with a broken leg. The Packers will probably be the perennially good Packers. That said, I think the Bears with their top five scoring defense will get 1 win vs each of them as long as player health does not become a significant issue. The potential for a 10+ win season is rising.

Dave, I must respectfully disagree with you. I can’t see the Bears going 3-3 with the division. In fact, I see them at best going 1-5. I’ve just seen this movie too many times. I hope like hell I’m wrong, and if I am, I will be the very first to come back here and admit that I’m an idiot. Or I could just save some time and admit that I’m an idiot right now. That works too!
