What do you know? IF the playoffs were to start today, the Bears would be in that coveted consolation-prize playoff spot (seventh seed). That being said, they didn’t get much help while off. Sure, the Vikings lost to the Lions on a late field goal. But the Texans pissed all over themselves allowing the Packers to kick a field goal as time expired.
The Seahawks and Eagles also won and thus, tightening up the playoff race even more.
So while the Bears still have a chance at the division, their best way in is with the Wild Card.
Your thoughts below.

Well, I basically did the exact same thing the Bears did: I took the week off from football. And you what? I didn’t miss a goddamned thing.

Smart man. I wished I had done the same. I just didn’t have motivation to do much else.

I’m picking the Bears to win this one in DC, whether Jayden Daniels plays or not. Montez Sweat is going to ball out as it is his revenge game for being traded. Also Caleb and DJ are going to shred that secondary, just like DJ did with Fields last year. This win will trigger Poles to make a trade deadline move to strengthen the D-line in the position opposite Sweat, making things even more competitive for division play which they may feasibly start with a record of 7-2 if they win this game since the Patriots and Cardinals are not expected to provide much competition.

Dave, I really wish I had your confidence and faith. I just can’t do it. I’ve/We’ve been burned too many times. But I most definitely your confidence!

Oops, I did it again. But I most definitely RESPECT your confidence!
Some days I feel just like Britney Spears.

Chuckster!
This slipped by me the last couple days because I’ve been battling this shitty cold (again). The Bears cut Velus Jones. What took so long?

Fro, dude, I’m sorry you’re sick again. That just blows (literally!). I just found that out last night. What took so long you ask? Stupidity moves so slow sometimes it seems to be going reverse. Anyway, that’s the only explanation I can offer you.
