There are only two options the Bears should choose for head coach.

by

In the previous thread, our loyal frendt Dave listed candiates for the next coach and asked who we would want to take over this piss-poor franchise.

As we all know, this season is done. Five games to go and four total games out of the consolation-prize Wild Card spot, it would take a circumstance beyond an act of God for the Bears to make the playoffs.

So now, we focus on the next head coach this offseason. Thomas Brown is supposedly on the list if he proves to be competent. The jury is still out on that.

But I strongly feel the Bears should start with a clean slate. If Thomas Brown is retained as the offensive coordinator, I’d be fine with that. But no one else. I don’t have faith in Eric Washington as defensive coordinator due to the constant collapes and lack of awareness on that side of the ball. Yes, we all know that the idiot head coach who is now “future endeavored” ultimately cost the team the season. But it was his defense.

The two options are Bill Belichick and Ben Johnson. Belichick should be the first choice. If he tells them no, then the Bears should focus on the offensive coordinator the Lions in Ben Johnson.

Money shouldn’t be a factor. The Bears should hand either of those guys a blank check and let them fill in the numbers.

You already know Belichick is more than capable of putting a team in a position to contend. With Johnson, you see the progress the Lions have made. Some even thought Jared Goff was finished after his tenure with the Rams. He’s still very good.

The two the Bears should stay as far way as possible from are Kliff Kingsbury and Mike Vrabel. Both have proven to be abject failures in their previous head coaching positions.

Tom Brady may have made Belichick look good. In the times both before and after Brady, his record was not one of success. I suppose their could have been other factors involved such as players and personnel.

I just listened to the press conference with Kevin Warren and Ryan Poles. A minute into of Warren speaking, I got dumber.

Somebody get this idiot away from the team. He’s another version of Ted Phillips. Too busy worried about the finances rather than the team itself. A president of an NFL team needs to be someone who actually has knowledge of the game. Not sitting there being a whiny bitch about a new stadium.

PUT A WINNING TEAM ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD.

A NEW STADIUM ISN’T NECESSARY YOU STUPID FUCK.

Just saw an article that had Notre Dame head coach Marcus Freeman as another possibility. I would prefer more NFL experience.

…any truth to the rumor that Harbaugh wanted the job, but he and Warren don’t get along?

Not sure if Warren didn’t get along with him. Many have said that the McCaskeys along with that dumb fuck Warren don’t want someone who will challenge them in a sense. In short, they want a coach who will do what they say.

This why Kevin Warren is Ted Phillips re-incarnated. Just another fucking idiot who doesn’t know the first thing about football. He has this strange obsession with building a new stadium despite the team still owing over a half billion for the current one.

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
