I just don’t understand this signing. Yes, Case Keenum has had much more success than Nathan Peterwhacker, Trevor Semen and P.J. Walker. And I know our friend Dave mentioned that he would be more of a mentor to Williams and Bagent. But still, leave the quarterback room alone. Call me a Tyson Bagent fantatic all you want. I get that the Bears have had plenty of money to spend in free agency. But this money could be used elsewhere. The history this franchise has had with signing free agent quarterbacks goes way before Poles got here. It’s never really been successful. “At first you don’t succeed…”

Guys, we lost a legend today. Steve Mongo McMichael died today at the age of 67. Way too young. This one really hurts deep, guys. He and Jim McMahon were my favorites. I hate this disease, and I hate the Muscular Dystrophy Association. I’m going to sit in a corner somewhere and just cry a little.
Rest in peace, Mongo. I love you, big man. You’ll be sorely missed by all of your fans. Especially me.
