As I mentioned in the previous thread, as soon as I saw Tyler Huntley was starting, it was a given. He killed the Bears four years ago with the Ravens and here he was to save the season for the Ravens.
Fuck Ben Johnson and this shitty offense. Fuck this team for penalties. This team should have had touchdowns on the first two drives and because of Johnson’s obsession with putting Caleb in a position to fail, they didn’t. Whatever honeymoon there was for this asshole, it’s over.
Fuck this defense and their inability to stop a nosebleed.
This is a shitty football team. The rejuvenated Bengals are next. Joe Flacco is reborn and he’s ready for a career game against the Bears. Watch and see.

This is the type of game the Bears lose. To a lowly opponent with a losing record, they always play down and provide the badly needed get-right game. To be honest, they should be 2-5 right now. This team is a fraud. They are going to finish with a losing record.

After I posted the recap, the Bears decided to have a huge play with D.J. Moore completing a catch to get down to the 5-yard line or whatever. They promptly chew up a ton of clock to go four straight plays without scoring to close out the game.
Very appropriate for this inept franchise.

Well, I’m calling it a day for the yard work. I probably will be working until Christmas, depending on snow. I did have the game on the radio. New station, same old idiot Jeff Joniak. Sheesh, why does this assclown even have a fucking job?
Anyway, what I heard did not surprise me at all. John, you’re right. This team is a fraud. O’Bradovich is hanging this loss directly on the coaching staff. I think he’s right, to a degree. I still have my beliefs of who’s pulling the coaching staffs strings, and it’s complete fucking bullshit because these puppeteers have no motherfucking clue what the goddamn hell they’re fucking doing! These asshole McCaskeys must be forced to sell this organization immediately. I don’t give a flying fuck about how the Halas family are charter members of the NFL. FUCK THAT SHIT!!!!!!!! THEY’RE A GODDAMNED EMBARRASSMENT TO THE LEAGUE!!!!!! THEY’RE NOT AN ASSET!!!!!!!!!! FUCK THEM!!!!!
Fuck George McCaskey! Fuck Ryan Poles. Fuck Kevin Warren. And fuck anybody and everybody else in upper management.
And once more, even while she’s in her grave, FUCK THE OLD BITCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve fucking had it with this fucking goddamned bullshit!

I believe there is a case of conflicting egos on the Bears offense. I understand a quarterback’s need to play in a coach’s system, but not when the coach’s system neuters the quarterback’s special abilities such as throwing on the run and making off-schedule plays. The two minds need to come together and find common ground so both methods can blend into a high powered offensive attack.
Bears need to go after some defensive players before the trade deadline.

Dave,
They had all offseason and three preseason games to “fix” their problems. And let’s just say they didn’t at that time. We’re now seven games in and it still looks like horseshit.
Ryan Poles fixed the offensive line and tight ends, right? Well, here they are continuing to commit false start penalties. I think they actually lead the lead in that category. I have seen enough of this garbage.
Caleb is very good. We’ve seen how many game-winning drives? It turns out, he seems to be doing that shit on his own. This is a sign of piss-poor coaching.

I know this has mainly turned into a Bears page, but let me shout out Chicago’s other fall and winter teams.
The Bulls are off to a 4-0 start as they run the offense through Vucevic and play less iso-ball. Matas Buzelis is going to be a superstar and Tre Jones is a nice surprise. Josh Giddey is playing a more complete game of basketball with improving defense and rebounding. The bench is formidable in the early going with strong contributions from Dosumu especially. And they aren’t just beating bums either, though they haven’t played expected top seeds yet. Perhaps not play-in fodder this year?
The Blackhawks are also off to a decent start with lots of scoring, especially from Connor Beddard. They are a solid 5-4-2. They seem to have a good coach in Jeff Blashill.

Dave,
The Bulls have definitely been the shock of the season so far. I’ve watched every one of these games. The league in general plays zero defense these days. It sucks to see. But the Bulls are outscoring everyone and it’s a total team effort. There aren’t really any dislikable players either. The Bulls won that Lavine trade by two miles. Tre Jones, Kevin Huerter and Zach Collins have all been major contributors since coming here.
The Blackhawks were kicking ass until this week. They’ve been in every loss except one so far. Several heartbreaking overtime losses so far. At least they’re in them. Spencer Knight has been outstanding in net.
