This had deja vu written all over it. When it was 16-3, the score was very similar to the season opener when the Bears were up by the same exact score and preceded to shit down their legs. I expected this to happen. Cairo Santos missed a field goal in the opener and the wheels fell off. Today, the same exact thing happens. Yet, somehow, someway, they find another way to WIN. But it should have never reached this point.
The defense was outstanding the first three quarters. Getting three turnovers and only resulting in three points is fucking inexcusable. Then, as par for the course, they collapse in the fourth. Ben Johnson is still proving to any logical fan that he has no fucking idea what he is doing. It almost cost this team the game (again). And yes, Cairo Santos is to blame as well for giving the Vikings life. But it should have never reached that had the play-calling have been better. The Bears should have easily had 30 points today and ran away with it. Instead, it was another cardiac moment for all of us.
Ben Johnson should be buying Devin Duvernay dinner for the rest of the week. He saved this dipshit from another humiliation.
And back to the defense, is this mental thing with these assholes? It’s been the same result for the last 20 years where they just fall apart when it matters most. Did the missed field goal fuck up their psyche? I have reason to believe that could be it. It’s just like the offense in the past years where as soon as they take the field, they are already down 7-0. Then it becomes 14-0. I just want this entire team to put together four full quarters of playing well and being in-sync.
I just feel like it’s time to bring back Jake Moody to kick. Santos has not been that consistent and again, today could have been costly. Shit like this can make a team collapse. The team is 7-3. The Bears need to make this change while they still have a chance to contend this season.

I can’t believe people are already talking about the playoffs. Our remaining games are going to be tough. This is not a playoff contender team. We continue to collapse on both sides of the ball. What gives?

Fro, if you were getting excited, I’d be telling you to dial it fucking back some. I have no faith in these coaches, these players, and I’m done with Caleb Williams. That’s three goddamn quarterbacks that the fucking Bears have slammed into a brick wall. A quarterback getting drafted by the Bears is a career death sentence. This bullshit franchise simply DOESN’T FUCKING KNOW HOW TO DEVELOP A GODDAMN QUARTERBACK!!!!!!!!!!
They may well reach the playoffs this season, but so fucking what? Does anybody think for one goddamned second that they’ll make any noise in January, let alone February? Because I sure as fuck don’t.

Chuckster!
I can see why you want to give up on Caleb. He was overthrowing receivers all game and it was annoying. We’ve seen that so many times with other quarterbacks and I am certain it was giving you flashbacks.
However, look at the dipshit of a head coach. How many dumbasses before him did the same shit? It’s 2nd and 1 and there is Caleb trying to throw 20-yard pass. He’s being told to do that and it’s fucking stupid. Ben Johnson is putting him in a position to fail. He’s overcoming all of the trash being thrown at him. Keep running the ball and it opens up the passing game. So I am not giving up on him despite all of the overthrows today. It should have never reached that point as I’ve said before.

Here is something stupid: The Bears had their usual postgame gathering where the dipshit was handing out game balls.
Who was the recipient of one of the game balls? No other than Kevin Warren. Why? He didn’t build this team. He wasn’t on the field.
Fucking idiots.
