Bad coaching | Packers 28 Bears 21

by

I woke up today and just had a bad feeling. And it was appropriate. It was awful from every side of the ball. The defense couldn’t stop anyone. They couldn’t get one damn yard on the final drive. Just wasting time and on 4th down, they pass? Just awful play-calling. Nobody should be defending this shitty coaching.

The defense couldn’t cover anyone. When the offense finally got going, the defense never woke up. Yet, there the Bears were with a chance to tie it and poof. It’s gone.

There is no way they go to the playoffs when the Packers, 49ers and Lions are waiting for them and they still need to play the Browns. They have dropped all the way down to the last playoff spot.

It’s over.

Goddamn, I seriously scared for O’Bradovich. I haven’t heard him this pissed off in over a year. I really can’t blame him. This was an epic shitting of the bed. As I’ve said previously, even if these assholes make the playoffs, so fucking what! It’ll be one and done with these useless cocksuckers. Don’t let the Good Friday game fool you. The Eagles are also bigtime pretenders. They’re NOT the same team that won the Super Bowl last February. They fucking suck donkey ass too. And we can officially call Caleb Williams a fucking bust. This punk-ass bitch won’t amount to a pie of flaming dog shit in this league. The goddamned Bears simply can’t develop a fucking quarterback. And one more thing: Why in the fuck does every goddamned head coach automatically become a moronic dipshit the second he dons that stupid Bears cap? You all know my conspiracy theory about. Now I want to see yours. Every cocksucker who has been head coach since Ditka has been a fucking carbon copy of the previous shithead! And goddamnit to hell, I’M FUCKING SICK OF THIS BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glass half full guy says this was the home team defending their home turf. I enjoyed the game despite the outcome. The endzone interception was a bad playcall, sure, no arguing there. The Bears are 9-4. They’ve outperformed their expectations, they are playing with house money. Poles draft picks are starting to hit, Darnell Wright is likely a pro bowler. Stevenson has improved. His Nashon Wright signing is a hit. I understand the frustration, but come on man, this season is a significant improvement, superbowl win or not. Penalties are down, sacks allowed are down. The greatest defenses in the NFL will occasionally allow touchdowns. The team is clearly on a rapid upward trajectory.

Nope, can’t be too upset about this one. We’ll get’em good in two weeks and break even. Then all that’s left, division-wise is to get the Lions in the final week at home for a .500 divisional record. I’m semi-confident this could possibly be the last loss of the regular season. Bears down.

    Dave,

We love you here. We really do. But damn, you can’t say they are playing with “house money.” The goal is to win the Super Bowl. They have a chance if they stop playing like shit.

This year, the conference is so damn close as we have witnessed. The Bears dropped form first all the way down to the “consolation” playoff spot.

I really don’t believe they can win three out of the last four. That is probably what will be needed to make the playoffs this year.

Correction, the playcall was actually pretty good, the execution by Williams was about 3/4th of a second too late. He throws that more on time, and Kmet is doing his home run celebration, followed by Monangai blasting through a hole in a worn down and possibly pancaked Packer defense into the endzone for a 1 point victory. Caleb will get there, in time. He will likely exceed last years totals in passing yards and passing touchdowns while still keeping the interceptions low.

Look, I understand this page’s name is “Fire so and so,” and the goal is to get to the Superbowl, but is this exponential improvement this unacceptable so early in this new coach’s regime? This year’s draft picks are contributing to wins, especially Monangai, Loveland, Burden. They aren’t busts, they’re performing. Teams need time to gel, playbooks need time to install. I’m just being real. Its football, one team will win, one will lose. It’s difficult to win in the NFL.

There are lots of Packers fans and analysts giving Caleb his flowers after he tired out their defense. Out of all of the teams visiting Lambeau this year, the Bears scored the most points and put up the most yards offensively. They made Love throw a rare interception. Again, as I said, upward trajectory. We’re about a year or two from a championship run, need a big draft pick for pass rushers and to start developing injury depth, especially a rookie player behind Thuney.

Looking at the bigger picture, the team finally has accountability, up and down the chain of command: From the Owners, to the GM, to the coaches, to the players. Ben Johnson and the coaching staff are helping Poles in drafting and finding players who will fit well in all phases of the game plan. The over under in wins this year for the Bears was initially 7.5, not to mention they currently have a 4 win improvement on last year. They could get double digit wins and still miss the playoffs. They’re good, the problem is the high disparity between winning teams and losing teams this season. I just can’t be angry at this. Maybe I don’t really belong on this page, hahaha. Bear down.
