Bears vs. Lions Thread

I don’t care about 4,000 passing yards. This obsession is fucking weird. Rest the starters and don’t risk the players who are already hurt. The goal is to win the Super Bowl.

    Watching Packers and Vikings now and seeing Green Bay doing the right thing and resting starters for a useless game and getting ready for the playoffs. I have a feeling the Bears will not be as smart. I could see egos overriding intelligence and Johnson thinking he needs to prove something to the Lions and Mr. I can make any throw going for his individual stat of 4,000 yards. I can only think of 1 reason to achieve this and it was a personal goal for them to begin the season and obtaining goals builds confidence and something to improve on. If they treat this game like something other than a pre-season game it will be very telling of what we have moving forward, egos.

    I don’t give a shit if the defense only gave up field goals on the first two drives. The fact that they couldn’t get off the field by allowing two long drives is absolutely taxing on them. Either have better play-calling on offense or surrender the second seed. Lose the battle for a chance to win the war.

    13-0 with 11 minutes left in the third quarter. Is it too soon to say this team is fucking doomed in the playoffs.

    This team has been pure fucking horseshit this game. I’m so sick of watching this goddamned garbage of a football team. I’m going back to watching “Demolition Man”.

    It’s obvious that Ben Johnson is putting Caleb in a position to fail. It’s criminal. Stop calling for bombs to the end zone and just focus on getting a first down.
