Back from the dead | Bears 31 Packers 27

by

These emotions, I can’t fucking handle. Screaming at the TV. Almost in tears early on when it’s 14-3. My life as a fan of this team flashing before my eyes. The nightmare of 1995 when the 49ers killed the Bears in the Divisional Round. Jim Miller getting knocked out in 2002 against the Eagles in the same round. The Super Bowl loss in 2007. The Packers humiliating this team in 2011 in the NFC Championship. The Wild Card game in 2019 against the Eagles. You name it. This was going to be another game added to that misery.

We rarely see this team in the playoffs is what I’m trying to say.

Caleb showing calmness despite his shitty head coach putting him in a position to fail. They could have had a chance to get field goals early on. Instead, going for it on 4th down. Nothing. Then, that last offensive drive, I haven’t seen anything like it. Then, the defense actually waking the fuck up in the second half despite their best efforts to give this game away in the final two minutes. With the exception of the game against the Browns, this team and the defense specifically, has not put together four full quarters of solid play.

In past years, that ball bounces off Kyler Gordon’s hands and into a receiver for the Packers. It’s just fucking insane.

We will find out tomorrow evening who the Bears will play next week. I didn’t sleep all week. I probably won’t sleep tonight or next week either.

    I am not a drinker.

But Chucky does have a chainsaw. And I assure you, he has used it and will use it again.

    BEAR THE FUCK DOWN!!!

A rookie head coach who needs work in the common sense department of offensive play calling.

A cocky second year quarterback with accuracy issues.

The most injured roster in the NFL.

A playoff win!! Against Green Bay!!

FUCK YES! This season is a success, regardless of what happens in the rest of the playoffs. Let’s see how far they get!!

John….I’m thinking of taking that fucking chainsaw to my skull. I just can’t get it right! I’m a moron.

    Chuckster,

You aren’t a moron. At all. How many games have we seen the Bears come back from this kind of deficit in the last 30 years? Once? Twice?

The only one I can think of is the Monday Night Football game against the Cardinals in 2006 when they were down 23-3. That was Urlacher’s “Superman” game where he willed the team to victory. The offense didn’t score a single touchdown either.

So as you can, even if I am wrong on other games in that timeframe, it doesn’t happen often.

Playoff game number 2 (yeah its happening) is vs the LA Rams. Matt Stafford does not perform well in cold weather, but this team should not be taken lightly with a good pass rush and a couple of the greatest receivers in the NFL like Davante Adams and Puka Nacua. Stafford has a near top of the league 46 touchdowns, so this team definitely has a capability to run up a score. Sean McVay has a good playoff record, but the Rams have lost the last two meetings where the Bears were the home team, including the game in London last year.

BEAR THE FUCK DOWN and win another one!

Then maybe the 49ers will take down the Seahawks so they can come to Soldier Field to play the NFC title game. Gonna be tough without George Kittle though.

The predicted high temp in Chicago this Sunday is 12 degrees. Brrrrr. I wonder if anyone can play well in that weather. And if they play at night, oh shit, that’ll suck ass. I wonder if the shirtless dumb fuck will be there for that!

Bears need to play the same game they played against the Eagles this season. They do that I believe they win. They put Mr. I can make any pass in positions to fail, he will. Rams have a hell of a passing game, hopefully Dennis Allen doesn’t wait 3 quarters to adjust. Go Bears!

The Rams have the number one offense in the league. The Bears have one of the shittiest defenses in the league. It doesn’t have to be this way. Dennis Allen needs to find a way to get this secondary to cover receivers and stop wandering all over the field watching receivers run right by.

This is the same shit that Lovie Smith did and it cost them. This entire season gave me flashbacks of those awful defenses.

And what type of coach was Lovie Smith? A defensive coach. What the fuck………

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
