OK, I have no fucking idea how this game will go down. I somehow think LA pulls this game out, but I’ve learned to never count the Bears out. And I can see how the weather can and will play a factor. I feel like Arnold’s “Terminator” character in his Terminator 3 movie. He’s trying to kill John Connor because his CPU was corrupted by the lady terminator (nice ass, by the way!) but can’t do it because it goes against his original programming. So, he winds up destroying that little S10 pickup truck. Then he shuts down and reboots and then he’s back to being a Good Guy (Don’t say it!). So, with all that said, I’m only going to hope that the Bears win, but I won’t predict that they’ll win or predict that they’ll lose. Complete toss-up to me.
I was very nervous last week. This week, not as much. Although that is building as we speak. I just remember many, including yourself Chuckster, telling me of the NFC Championship game in the late 80’s where the 49ers came to town and ran all over the Bears. So that’s what tells me the “BEAR WEATHER” is a myth.
The goals remain the same: Run the ball. Cover the receivers. No fuckery from Ben Johnson. If he wants to do that in preseason games or practice, go right ahead. Not when it matters.
