Kevin “Fucking” Gregg.

by

I can’t seem to mention his name without having a middle name. I never liked this guy from the first pitch he threw in a Cub uniform. There was no movement on his fastball, and I knew he was gonna get crushed. I was right.

Hendry should be kicked in the fucking ass for not bringing in Hoffman when he was available. This team would have been better off if Hendry didn’t do a fucking thing in the off-season. Everything he touched turned to shit. There’s Miles, Gathright, Freel, and of course, Bradley. And trading for Kevin “Fucking” Gregg sums up Hendrys efforts to improve a 97 win team.

I don’t want to kick Hendry in the ass. I want to punt his fucking nutsack to the moon.

  2. Nemo Says:

    Yeti,

I don’t think you don’t care about the Cubs winning the world series-I just think you are an unrepentant optimist when the last 102 years give you zero basis for ever having such a view. Such views will always be unwelcome here until the Cubs have proven they can win a World Series.

Now folks, tell me which is a more moronic view:

    a) Gregg is the worse closer in the history of baseball. He should be dipped in human waste and set out in 90 degree heat for a week for the flies to have at him while being fucked up the ass by men named Rocky, Spike, and Killer?

    or

    b) Gregg is a serviceable closer

View A gets the Cubs a new closer. View B gets us more of the same old shit. I submit to you gentleman (and Yeti and Noisy) that view B is the far more moronic view and is much more harmful to the team and the franchise.

  3. Matt Stairs Superfan Says:

Yeti has always has stats to back him up. You guys ever notice that?

So here is something for Yeti to try to back up…

Gregg leads all relievers in the league in HR’s allowed with 10.

    Can you defend that?

  4. Irish Yeti Says:

    Chucky,

    I like you dude.

  5. chucky Says:

    I doubt that.

  6. doublekid Says:

Statistically, Gregg is not god awful. That being said; I don’t think he should be our closer. His blown saves always seem to be the ones that hurt the most. His save percentage is in the bottom half of the majors. At least when Kerry Wood blew a save he was still Kerry Wood.

  7. robert Says:

this question is for Irish Yetti

Who Led the National League in blown Saves in 2008

    a Kerry wood
    b Ryan Franklin
    c Kevin Gregg
    d Manny Corpas

If you answered c and d you would be right

kevin Gregg had 29 saves 9 blown saves 7 wins 8 losses no saves after august 24th but he did have 4 losses during that time frame..

ps he leads all releivers in homers allowed with 10

    Louser Pinellas quote

Manager Lou Piniella insisted after Sunday’s loss he’s not contemplating a change in the closer’s role.

    “Why should I?” he said.

  8. genrebuster Says:

yes robert, as I stated in previous thread if Lou keeps this up he’ll be seated next to Dusty at Thanksgiving…with either Latoya, Jackoff or Neifi on the other side

    SELL THE CUBS.

    FIRE JIMBO HENDRY.

    FIRE LAWRENCE ROTHSCHILD.

  9. erniesarmy Says:

“I mean, do I need to come here after every loss and defend my Sheeple buddies?”
    ————————
No, you could simply stay away and make all of us happy.
    ————————-
“The thing I find funny here is the fact that you guys talk more during losses than during wins. Hell, if this team won every game so far this year, I’d speculate that this place would be bare as it really seems like you guys just like bitching.”
    ————————-
You do have a problem with the truth don’t you? When the Cubs were winning
a lot of us commented. However, unlike the sheep (which you are obviously one), we said, “Winning games against the Nationals and Reds isn’t quite the same as the Phillies or Marlins.” They can’t beat the Phillies and Marlins of the league because they are not as good as you think they are. They are still the “Cubs.” And until they stop being the “lovable losers” they will impress no one on this blog.
    —————————–
“Actually, they have banned people. I know others who were banned, but that’s neither here nor there.”
    —————————-
Name them? Who’s been banned? I would like to hear FroDog or KSMC on this one. My guess is you’re lying again.
    —————————–
“Really, I wouldn’t care if I got banned. I mean, there’s no changing your guys’ idiotic views (even though I’ve developed a little bit of respect for Genre, and KSMC doesn’t sound to moronic). The fact that you guys think that I don’t care about the Cubs winning the WS just based off of the fact that I actually defend some of these guys because they’re not as bad as you claim just sums up why most of you suck as fans.”
    ——————————
And the fact that you still defend mediocrity, even after many on this board called you out on some of your stupid comments, is proof positive that you are the typical Sheepie Cub Fan, the lovable loser of those lovable losers.

    Congrats!

Moreover, neither me, nor anyone else, asked that you be banned (you’re too funny to be banned), but the nitwit that took up 3/4 of the comments section with “Baaaaaaaaaa…Baaaaaaaaaa…” (Yeti Krishna) was the one who should be banned for making those of us who do want to comment have to scroll down to nearly the bottom of the page to make a comment.

  10. erniesarmy Says:

Oh, and once more, here is an example of Einsteins analysis:
    ———————-
Irish Yeti & Dr. Nosepicker –

“My point would be that he’s not as horrible as you guys claim (Kevin Gregg). Do I really need to go back and point out every post that you guys said he sucked?”
    ———————–

Yeti, you and Lou should get together, you’re both senile.

  11. robert Says:

yeti you say we say a player sucks and dont back it up with stats here is one for you milton bradley sucks

he has played 44 more games and has only 31 more hits 1 more double the same amount of homers and the same amount of rbis than jake fox

jake fox should be playing milton bradley should not

  12. chucky Says:

This is rich. I just had share it with you guys. This is from the Cubs website, written by that bitch Carrie Muskrat.

CINCINNATI — If the Cubs ask Kevin Gregg, he’ll tell them he’s available on Monday. But manager Lou Piniella wants to give his closer a few days off because of a tired arm, so Carlos Marmol is the designated closer.

A tired arm? WHAT THE FUCK!?!?!? You have to be fucking kidding me. When is this fucking organization going to show some goddamned honesty and integrity and just tell us what we all know already: KEVIN GREGG FUCKING SUCKS MASSIVE MAN SHAFT!!

And so does that assclown Jim Hendry.

    Tired arm my goddamn ass!

  13. robert Says:

yetti…../actually defend some of these guys because they’re not as bad as you claim just sums up why most of you suck as fans.

well I have offered facts with what I have posted to back them up and I will tell you why I dont like Jim Hendry

1 his utter destroying the minor league system…the teams that win build a farm system sign a free agent or two

2 His one track mind…He was so intent on getting Rafael Furcal he didnt go after anyone else… when furcall didnt sign he pulled the trigger on pisshead pierre costing us renyal Pinto and Ricky Nolasco

3 Milton Bradley was another guy he wanted so bad he would not look at anyone else…aaron heilmann he wanted him since after the 04 season he problably blew a wad in his jeans when he got him

4 4 years of dusty…how is edison volquez doing for the reds

    5 his piss poor drafting

6 the fact that his personal proctologist posts on this site

  14. Nemo Says:

Chucky, maybe Gregg’s arm is sore from giving handjobs to Piniella and Hendry for playing time and the Cubs not acquiring a real closer.

  15. chucky Says:

You’ll get no argument from me Nemo. I’ll bet he blew both them and Yeti too.

  16. genrebuster Says:

Ernie, don’t let the Krishnas get to you…I think the “end” key should take you directly to bottom of page when you don’t want to wade through all the posts (good or baaaaaaaaaaaad HA HA HA), I use it when I’m in a hurry or the posts start adding up…

Good to see the Cubs win, even better at Dusty’s expense…but I am sick and tired of teams scoring on the Cubs in the 9th. Marmol put the Reds in a position to win.

    Who should be the closer?

  17. chucky Says:

NOT Kevin Gregg, that much is certain.

  18. genrebuster Says:

I have as much use for Gregg as I did for Howry last year. BARF.

  19. erniesarmy Says:

    “Who should be the closer?”

    Guzman should close

Grabow or Marmol should be set up (All Marmol needs is a decent pitching coach, and manager).

    Gregg should be DFA’d!

Hendry should, must, absolutely must, be fired. Yesterday if possible.

  20. ksmc2000 Says:

robert, #4 of your recent post says it all. Volquez is fucked up now, and don’t forget that Aaron Harang was a Cy Young caliber pitcher before Dusty got his fucked up hands on him. Arroyo use to be a good pitcher also.

  21. chucky Says:

This is from that bitch Carrie Muskrat again:

Kevin Gregg took two days off after blowing consecutive save chances against the Marlins over the weekend, but the righty will be back on call in Wednesday’s series finale against the Reds.

Terrific. Just what I wanted to hear. The only way that cocksucker should ever get into another game is if the Cubs are down by 15 runs. And maybe not even then.

  22. robert Says:

chucky I posted this earlier but this is more from that dipshit

Proof the cubs have idiots everywhere in there orginization…this came from the same mailbag from carrie muskatt

The fans Question why dont the cubs move soriano out of the leadoff spot…her reply cause his career has shown he cant hit anywhere else…How has he done since moving to the 6th hole…

why hasnt jake fox been bought up….her answer…he cant play anywhere but first base… how has he looked at third behind the plate and in the outfield

  23. robert Says:

great aaron miles and milton bradley in the lineup

  24. chucky Says:

Is it any wonder that they’re in the 6th inning and haven’t scored one goddamned run?

  25. erniesarmy Says:

Is it any wonder that they will soon be staring at 4th place, after August?

  26. chucky Says:

    Ernie

    Short answer: No.

    Long answer: HELL NO!

  27. Matt Stairs Superfan Says:

    Go figure.

Miles back in the lineup along with Bradley is just asking for a loss.

What was that old saying? If it’s not broke, don’t fix it?

    Sigh.

  28. jasonwedge Says:

WTF? I haven’t watched a game since the cubs went on the road trip…AARON MILES is back…F THAT GUY….as long as that sack of shit is on this team I will be the most hated person on cbs glogs….

shutdown by a weak tossing rookie or journeyman…i dont even know who … i heard on the radio they had 4 hits…HA HA HA…when things are good things are good when they ar Bad they are really bad….

This team isnt winning shit….I am sick of the cub sheeple having unrepenting love for this sack of shit team….

The ownership and management doesnt give a crap about you….so no need to be loyal to this garbage ass team….

do you honestly think they could beat the Dodgers or Phillies in a playoff series I say HELL NO…..

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
