I just don’t fucking get it.

Get use to it. This is how it’s going to be. Joel Quennville once again took his stupid pills and put in Cristobal Huet. I don’t know why. Antti Niemi records two shutouts in one week then sits for this game. A game in which if the Blackhawks could have won would have put at least an extra point in the standings away from Phoenix and put more pressure on San Jose. Instead, Cristobal Huet decided to start my Thursday night piss fest along with the Bulls losing by nearly 30 points shortly after.

Good friend of the site MadCityMac had his take in an earlier post:

“I didn’t see the game, and it doesn’t sound like it was completely his fault, but it sounds like Cristobal Huet completely shit the bed for the Hawks last night. Gives up a goal 32 seconds into the game? WTF!!??!! Can’t they trade him for a used puck bag?”

A used puck bag is asking for too much Mike. This pile of shit gave up seven goals last night. SEVEN. I don’t care if it wasn’t completely his fault. That is an awful performance. If he is the starting goalie in the playoffs, then the picture above is what it is going to look like in mid-April.

I think Quenneville was experimenting with putting Huet in there against a non contending team to try to boost his confidence before the playoffs. Experiment over!!! If the Hawks are going to do anything in the playoffs, they will have to ride Niemi like a dead horse or bring back Crawford and tell Huet to take a flying fuck. The defense needs to get their shit together also.

Keith and Fro, The guys on the score all day Friday were just tearing Huet a new one. Steve Conroy says that Huet may get 2 starts in the last 9 games just so Niemi isn’t completely burned out by playoff time, but yeah, Huet will sit as soon as the season is over. From what I can gather, it sounds like most of the team mailed it in against Columbus. My guess is they’re fed up with Huet being such a goddamn sieve, and try much harder when Niemi is in goal. My only concern with Crawford is that he has virtually no experince in big games. Then again, he’s STILL better than Huet. Payback time Sunday at the UC; Columbus again! And I think it’s a safe bet you’ll see Niemi in goal!

My Badgers took down Vermont 3-2 last night; they get St. Cloud St. tonight for the right to go to the Frozen Four!

Holy shit, Robert. i can’t fucking believe this guy. I’ll say it right now, even if it isn’t the politically correct thing to say: Milton Bradley needs to put a bullet in his empty motherfucking head. Nothing else will shut this piece of shit the goddamned hell up!

Yes, Hendry should have been fired for the Bradley signing, that was the last straw. Excellent article by Rosenbloom.
