Thanks. But no thanks.

by

Last night, the Cleveland Cavaliers were eliminated from the playoffs by the Boston Celtics. Since the Cavs game 5 loss, all the talk has been about the Chicago Bulls getting LeBron James this summer.

Well, I am here to explain why the Bulls should not go after LeBron. I have my reasons why this would be a bad idea. This guy has been in the NBA for seven years. This guy has had many chances to win a title in my opinion.

I have had this discussion with many people that I talk to on a daily basis especially at work. I have told all of them for at least the last two or three years that LeBron James will never win a title. Why? Because he is a selfish, self centered punk. There have been many occasions where I have seen him dancing around the sidelines with his teammates. He has also been seen talking shit to other teams while playing. He is such a turd.

I am not doubting his talent. He is a very good player. However, his maturity and character is an issue. Another player I hate is Kobe Bryant. But when I see him play, I respect him. Unlike LeBron, he doesn’t run his mouth during the game. He let’s his play do the talking. When he hits game winning shots, he does celebrate like most players would but he doesn’t taunt the other team or talk shit to them during the games. Kobe didn’t do that. Jordan never did that. When players talked shit to Jordan, all he did was hit game winning shots and go on streaks but I never saw him open up his mouth.

In 2007 when the Bulls had a legitimate chance to land Kobe Bryant, I was excited. I knew that I didn’t like the guy but at least I respected him. All that had to happen was that the Bulls had to give up Luol Deng and either Kirk Hinrich or Ben Wallace in return in a three team trade with the Lakers and Kings. Obviously, John Paxson was stupid and didn’t pull the damn trigger because he was a dumbass. With this situation, I do not want him to get LeBron. It will be the same shit. All hype and no titles.

So LeBron, have fun either staying in Cleveland or going to New York to play for the Knickerbockers. From a real Bulls fan, your immaturity and selfishness is not wanted here.

I have to disagree with you. I’ll take him in a heartbeat. Remember there is stories out there about how immature and selfish MJ was in his earlier years. Plus MJ was one of the biggest trash talkers in the NBA. Lebron is only 25 and he is the best player in the NBA. He’s still young and has time to mature. Also I believe his elbow is injured more than he was letting on. I have to agree to disagree with you on this Fro. Either way chances are he’s probably gonna stay in Cleveland anyway.

    Sandberg23,

I understand your argument and respect your opinion.

In my rebuttal though, Was MJ ever seen on the sidelines dancing around with teammates while up by 25 in the 4th quarter? Plus, Jordan didn’t talk trash until players and coaches talked to him first. LeBron was the first to open his mouth up.

I know the majority don’t agree with me but who knows. If he does come, I will root for him just like every other player in that jersey.

I’d rather have a legitimate low post threat in Amar’e Stoudemiere come to the Bulls than this punk.

Like him or not, the Bulls would be a much better team with Lebron. He is young…but there is currently not a better player in the NBA.

Despite his obvious skills, I’m not a Kobe fan. For me, MJ is still a cut above the rest. Flaws and all.

  4. Richard Chuggar Says:

That is the worst article I have ever read in my entire life. You are such a fucktard. MJ and Kobe are probably 2 of the bigger shittalkers in the the history of the NBA. Not to mention Bron Bron’s teams have all had shitty players around him. This is just a poorly, poorly written. You are a retarded wrestling fan with no knowledge of stuff. You are such a poor boy, I almost feel bad for you. I hope somebody protects your dog.

“Not to mention Bron Bron’s teams have all had shitty players around him.”

Now, I haven’t been not much of an NBA guy the last few years but haven’t the Cavs had the best record in the league two years in a row? There is a stat for our mascot Irish Yeti to ponder on. And in regards to Fro said, I’d take LeBron but I agree with you that no one else danced around the benches other than him.

  6. Fro Dog Says:

    Mr. Dick Chugger,

Thanks for visiting my site. Now I can sleep easy at nights knowing that there is another person who actually reads this garbage that I put here. Much appreciation goes to you. We all know you are a young man. Maybe a teenager who just got his driver’s license. Maybe it’s time you tell your parents that you are out of the closet? I am sure it’s best to tell them early so you won’t have to worry about it when you grow up.

“I hope someone protects your dog.” Actually, you are a bit early on that. Stacey and I haven’t decided yet when we will get a dog. We are thinking maybe when I get a bigger place in about a year, we will pony up the cash for it. We are deciding between a Siberian Huskie or a Golden Retriever. Maybe you can help us decide which one we should get?

Since you probably just got your driver’s license, I have an exciting idea for you. If you are close to Chicago, feel free to get in your car, drive it to the Dan Ryan Expressway (outbound preferably), park it on the side of the road, get out and stand in the middle of the road for a couple minutes. Then get back in you car, go home, get on your parent’s computer and let us know what happened to you.

  7. Anon Says:

When Chugger drives the Dan Ryan, he tries to stick to the shoulders.

  8. Erniesarmy Says:

Hey, Fro, don’t let that troll get to you. He’s just upset because he’s a Cavs fan who’s going to lose his baby “King.”

I agree with you, Fro. I am a Laker fan, and I haven’t like Kobe Bryant since his first year in the league – and I still don’t! He is selfish, egotistical, brash, and, even after all this time in the league, he still doesn’t know how to play the game!

I didn’t like Jordan either, but, I admired his heart on the court, and he did know how the game was supposed to be played.

Jordan stayed in school long enough to get an education on the court and off, and it payed off in 6 NBA titles. These two came right out of high school with a big sign hanging around their necks that said “ENTITLED.” They were entitled to start immediately, entitled to make millions, entitled to have the ball whenever they wanted it, entitled to take all the shots, and entitled to be on an NBA Championship team. By the way, without Shag and Pau, Bryant has zero rings. No one wins by themselves; no one.

Are Bryant and James physically talented? They both are two of the most talented players that have ever laced up a pair of sneakers. But there is more to championships than talent. Without Pippen, Cartwright, Grant, Kukoc, Paxson, and a coach the caliber of Phil Jackson, Michael Jordan doesn’t win, period.

So, having James on your team will make the Bulls better, but I don’t think they can win a championship with him. Unless, they get someone like Chris Bosh to go along with him. Then you got something.

  9. Fro Dog Says:

    Ernie,

I appreciate the kind words. I just cannot understand why these kids continue to read this site and they just go off and say how stupid it is. I know I’ve said this a billion times, but it seems like they have cannot comprehend anything when I tell them to just not read it and not to come here.

Anyway, getting to your reply, I do believe they will get better as a team. I never will doubt that. However, getting better does not mean they will win a title. I honestly think they cannot win a title due to his selfishness and immaturity. That’s all.

  10. Erniesarmy Says:

Fro said – “I honestly think they cannot win a title due to his selfishness and immaturity. That’s all.”

Agreed, but, let me mention a few things:

    1. Remember, this kid was being scouted by pro, and college, scouts when he was in seventh grade! I coached seventh grade basketball, and I can tell you it was hard enough getting those kids to realize that making it to the NBA is a million to one shot, no matter how talented you are, so I cannot fathom what it was like for him to be drooled over like that at such a young age. I think it would take a very special person not to become spoiled over such attention. Obviously, he is not such a person.

    2. The Bulls have a solid team. You add Lebron James to a mix including Rose, Noah, Gordon, and the rest, and you’re looking at a potential powerhouse.

    3. The question of coaching is key. If your coach, DelNegro?, can develop this talent into a cohesive unit (like Jackson did with the same cast that couldn’t win under Collins), you’re looking at a potential dynasty – all those guys are still young.

However, your point still stands. If James can’t, won’t, or whatever, listen to the coaches, and play WITHIN the system, then it will be a disaster. But, if someone could get into his thick skull with what could be accomplished, then you have something special.

The problem, as you so well pointed out, is that no one, to this point, has been able to do that.

  11. Erniesarmy Says:

    Oh, one other thing, Fro.

If he does come to the Bulls, do you think they will let him wear #23?

    Talk about controversy!

  12. Sandberg23 Says:

Ernie – James turned in a uniform switch into the league office a couple moths ago to change his uni number to 6. That in itself created a conspiracy theory that he wants to play for the Bulls cuase he can’t have no. 23. I agree that the Bulls may need to add another piece besides just Lebron. However if they just had him alone the Bulls would be contending for the Championship every year. How could anyone argue against that? What could happen is that the Bulls do a sign and trade with Deng or Hinrich’s contract for either Bosh or Joe Johnson then have the Free Agent money to go after Lebron. The fact that he is selfish is not a surprise. Most of the top players in the game are selfish. He is the best player in the game right now. You don’t pass that up when you have a chance to get him. Plus the Bulls roster is in need of another Super star on the team.

  13. Sandberg23 Says:

Correction…that should have been months. I can’t type worth crap!!

  14. Fro's Dog Says:

wuff!!! rufffffff!!!! rufffffffffffff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! raaaahrr!!!!!!!!!!! bow wow wuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wuff !!!!!
