Just when everyone thought the Blackhawks were going to roll right through the Flyers in this series, it has now turned into a fight. Even after the 2-0 start in the series, I knew that this wasn’t going to be easy. Yet the so called “experts” kept saying that the Blackhawks were going to win easily. Predictions don’t mean shit. Teams still have to play the games.
The Blackhawks are close to being fucked. All they had to do was win at least one of the two games on the road and they didn’t. They even played like crap the first two games of the series and still managed to win both of them. That shows you how good of a team this is. Now they need to start playing like one.
So we’ll see what happens Sunday night as well as Wednesday night. I am not a pessimist. I am a realist and the reality is that this team is in trouble.

I thought whatever team wins game 5 will win the series. Great job by the Blackhawks on Sunday night. Coach Q mixed up the first line a bit by separating Kane and Toews and added Hossa to the first line. They came out clicking on all cylinders in the first period to take a 3-0 lead. Philly could not get within a two goal deficit the rest of the way. I think the line change confused Pronger a bit. He had Toews, Hossa, and Kopecky to deal with and didn’t know who to defend.
Let’s get one more win and bring the Cup home on Wednesday.

YES YES YES! Chicago has a winner…I only saw the last few minutes of regulation and overtime…but that was truly action packed hockey.
What a great series…gotta be good for the NHL…Philly was relentless to the end, a worthy opponent.
Roenick got all choked up post game…interesting.
Congratulations to the Chicago Blackhawks players and organization!
