This blizzard is becoming an adventure. I went to my parents house in town to plow the driveway and I had to knock down a three foot snow bank in front of the house just to get started. Stacey is stuck in Lake Villa at a friends house and she said the northern suburbs were worse than here in the western part. I saw the news and they had an “unofficial total” of 27 inches in the city.

The highest total I saw came from Skilling at WGN. 22 inches at some place that escapes me. I live on a 4 lane road in Mundelein that has been reduced to two lanes. I still can’t get out. I’m sure we got at least 2 feet. I am really fucking sore. Even with a powerful snowblower, this was a bitch. I don’t even want go out tomorrow and try to finish my driveway. -10 tonight, maybe +10 tomorrow. Wind chills 20 to 40 below. Stay warm Fro. Don’t fuck around in this shit.

We got about 15″ in Madison; my daughter who goes to UW-Stevens Point said they got nothing! Spent about an hour getting enough of my girlfriends driveway cleared so I could get out, drive to my place on the eastside, then about 2 hours doing my driveway and sidewalk, not to mention 2 or 3 of my neighbors sidewalks. Best damn thing I ever bought was my snowblower! THEN, back to my girlfriend’s place to finish her driveway and sidewalk. I’m this close to taking a trip to spring training just to get away from this crap!

Thank you for the sportsmanship….so, right back at you! I agree that it’s got all the ingredients to be a whopper of a game. I’m thinking it’ll be the highest rated/watched Super Bowl of all time. You’ve got 2 of the most storied franchises in the history of the NFL clashing for all the marbles. Pretty exciting.
At halftime, you’ve got the Black Eyed Peas lighting up the stadium….and on the field we’re gonna have the Packers giving the Steelers a “Black Eye” as the Green and Gold bring the Lombardi Trophy back to “The Frozen Tundra”.
I’m going into my office today to get a full day of work in so that I don’t have to worry about a thing on Monday.

Ok. Here is my final word on the Super Bowl at about 50 minutes before kickoff.
I hope Green Bay kicks the living shit out of Pittsburgh. I know we have Steeler fans that come here, and I’m not trying to disrepect any of you. Or the Steeler organization. My reason is coming from a being a Bear fan. (At this point, I don’t know why anymore) I want the Bears organization, including that evil bitch Virginia McCaskey, her goddamned idiot son, Lovie Smith and his entire coaching staff to be completely embarrassed about this. If this completely useless coaching staff had a fucking clue, the Packers would not have even been in the playoffs, let alone the Super Bowl. So Ginny, Mikey, Lovie and all of the coachs, just sit back tonight, and understand this: If you fucks had done your damn jobs, and taken care of business on week 17, YOU might be in Dallas instead of Green Bay.
So, for one night only, I’m a Packer fan.
Add to the fact I can’t stand Ben Penisberger.
