Last year, it was Deb Placey. Now, it’s Kathryn Tappen who joined the NHL Network at the beginning of the season. She came from NESN in Boston where she hosted Bruins pre/post game shows. Now, she hosts NHL On The Fly as well as NHL Tonight on the network. I have to say as with Deb who is still my #1, I am impressed. Long blonde hair, awesome smile and an excellent rack. The best part about all of this? The woman knows her hockey and that’s the most beautiful thing.
Kudos to the NHL Network for not just hiring two babes, but two babes who know what they are talking about.

I’ll just quote a cartoon hero of mine.
“I love you. Come to Butthead.”

Haha. Good stuff.
By the way, how’s the shoulder now? We’re pulling for you man.
Also, the Blackhawks traded John Scott today. He told the Tribune that he was shocked about it. I was too. I was shocked that the Rangers of all teams were dumb enough to give a draft pick for a slow and bad defenseman.

Thanks Fro. The shoulder sucks goat balls. I’m in constant pain and it seems to pop often, which is terribly painful. I’m seriously considering amputation. Especially since I can’t can’t get any more goddamn painkillers. I’m also starting to understand how Mark Prior feels. I’m surprised he actually hasn’t pistol whipped that cocksucker yet. You know I would!

Hockey babes are the best! Chucky, hang in there with that goddamn shoulder!

Thanks Mac. I’m trying. But this is getting old real fucking quick. And my frustration is off the charts.

Bears released Anthony Adams and Frank Omiyale today.
It’s a start. About goddamn time!
March 1, 2012 at 11:59 pm
I didn’t think Adams was that terrible of a player. If the Bears played him more, I think he would have made more of a difference.
Omiyale on the other hand, sucked ass and had no business being in an NFL uniform. What a horrible football player.
I am guessing the Bears are going to take a wide receiver in the first round which I am not opposing. I feel like they can get an offensive lineman or two in the later rounds. Reports suggest they may take a linebacker in the second or third round.

No, Adams wasn’t terrible. I was saying it was about time Omiyale got cut. I’m actually hoping the Bears draft O-linemen first. Everything starts there. You could have Jerry Rice or Lynn Swann in their prime in there and they wouldn’t be able to do very much behind this O-line. The line needs to be the priority here in my opinion. Then move on to other areas.

The draft blogs I’ve seen, including the Score’s website, has the Bears taking the WR from Notre Dame. They also have the Packers taking C Peter Konz from my Badgers. I hope the hell so- keep hearing Ted Thompson isn’t going to tender an offer to Scott Wells, the only C with any experience on the roster. I knew you guys would be really happy when I heard Omiyale was released!
March 3, 2012 at 11:44 am
Mike,
You already know this but Frank Omiyale has no business playing for any NFL team. We knew this three years ago when the Bears picked him up. Well, I guess only the Bears do stupid shit like this. I have no idea how Emery is going to do but I’ll say this: He can’t be any worse than Angelo.

Louzer pinella what do you want me to do….quazimodo we are professionals…..dale sveum after 1 spring training game went off on the team over bad baserunning ….not opening game of the regular season opening game of the pre season
March 4, 2012 at 11:23 pm
That happened (Sveum going off)? I like it.
March 5, 2012 at 7:29 am
I hope I’m not wrong for doing this, but I’m really starting to like Sveum and his no-nonsense style. Maybe he will be the one guy to turn the Cubs around.
March 5, 2012 at 8:17 am
Chucky i agree with you i hope he is not in like a lion and out like a lamb….but yelling at a team over baserunning after 1 preaseason game is all right by me
March 5, 2012 at 11:28 am
Wait…we have a manager who holds his players responsible for fundamental fuck-ups? After one preseason game?
This is not normal.
March 5, 2012 at 9:05 pm
Yeah, well, we’re 0-2.
March 6, 2012 at 2:10 am
Fortunately, most of the suckitude is by guys who wouldn’t make the 25-man roster anyway. Just a sign of our horrendous farm system in action.
March 6, 2012 at 4:32 pm
…and for that we have that cocksucker Hendry to blame! Things will change, and I have an even better feeling about Sveum!
