Way to go Dustfuck! On a better note, my Badger hockey team opens tonight vs. Northern Michigan, at the Resch Center in Green Bay. I’m half tempted to drive up there, only a 3 hour drive. Any of you guys thinking of checking out the outdoor games at Soldier Field in February? Badgers vs. the Minnesota Golden Rodents in the nightcap. I just don’t know about watching outdoor hockey with the wind howling off Lake Michigan in the dead of winter…Fro, how bad is the wind at Soldier Field? I saw the Badgers vs. Michigan at Camp Randall a few years back and even at 20 degrees at game time it wasn’t too bad. The walk back to the bar was colder!

I am telling you, Soldier Field sucks when it’s cold especially when you’re on the east side of the field. The first game of the season against the Colts, I am in the corner on the east side and was freezing my ass off along with anyone sitting in the 200 level under the canopy. If the sun doesn’t shine on you, bundle up.

I was lucky to sit on the west part of the field for the last game against the Rams but my next set of tickets are once again, in a corner the Sunday after Thanksgiving against the Vikings. There is a good chance I am bringing the hand warmers.

Bob Brenly will not be returning next year for Cubs broadcasts. Rumor has it that he’s heading for Arizona to do the D-Backs games.

OK, part of me is happy for Brenly, he seems like a real good guy, and I’ll miss him. But another part of me, a VERY selfish part of me, is dreading this, because of the name I heard as a possible replacement.

Yup, Al Yellons love fantasy, Kerry Wood. This fucking shit just never ends. All I can say is I hope they’re wrong about Wood coming in. Ricketts DOES have him signed to some kind of personal services contract, but I heard Dan and Terry say they may have him get some experience first.

One thing for sure: Is will be fucking uglier than the games themselves if it happens.
