What a way to close out the year, right? I really don’t have much to say because, let’s face it, the Bears are a fucking let down. Every damn year. Sure, the offense could have done more but how much can you ask out of them? The defense was surprisingly playing well albeit some bad calls. It really didn’t matter in the end. Chris Conte and the shitty defense of the Chicago Bears lost this game. No doubt about it. You just knew it was appropriate that they closed out the season that way. They had two chances to win the division and they failed to do that.
Sure. We can blame the Cowboys for fucking up two weeks ago. If they don’t blow that, this game means nothing and the Bears clinch last week regardless. But it’s not. This fuck up goes solely on the Bears from the coaching staff to the players. No excuses.
We can bitch more about this game and season all we want. It won’t do anything. It was a shitty last two weeks and you would be insane to think it would end any differently than it did. The good news is, no more injuries for the season and Phil Emery has a long list of issues to address in the offseason. May I suggest an entirely new defense?

I know I have made remarks about Jay Cutlers neck twitches before but on a serious note it is allot worse. At one point after the first Bears score in the 4th quarter they zoomed on him and he was doing the neck/head thing and one particular spasm I noticed his eyes rolled up in his head when it happened which leads me believe this is involuntary. I’m not a neurologist but something is seriously wrong with that dude! I understand he has the right to his medical privacy but I think there is something he is not disclosing and hopefully a league physical catches before the Bears tag or resign him or he has a blood vessel pop and dies before his head hits the field. Does anyone know if thats a symptom of the diabetes?

It’s the diabetes. My dad has it and sometimes twitches his head and neck at times.

Regardless, Jay Cuter is not the reason the Bears lost the last 2 weeks. Just saying. That is all.

This season reminded me of 2008. Shitty defense, bad calls, blown leads, missed field goals, etc. It’s like a revolving door for the Chicago Bears. It’s such a damn shame.
I am not losing faith in the new regime since it’s only been a year. I am praying Emery fixes this damn defense because they were the ones that lost this. But there were many other opportunities in other games too. You can only wish this stuff will change.

Schwartz and Frazier were fired today so half the division will see new head coaches next year. I have to give Trestman a C- grade his first year. A few really boneheaded calls this year and the redzone production was not so great. Had 2 opportunities knocking to go to the playoffs and didnt answer the door. Although the offense took steps forward the defense took steps back. With the injuries early I was kind of thinking Mel Tucker was dealt a bad hand but the defense showing a complete lack of discipline in recent weeks tells me he sucks. Let the offseason begin!

I am on the border with Tucker. I know it was the preseason, but they seemed to do well then. You would think they would be fine. Once the regular season started, it was a train wreck. Keep in mind, when they started 3-0, the defense was still, healthy for the most part but sucked ass. Maybe one more year with new players and if it’s the same old shit after a few games, then toss the guy into Lake Michigan.
I agree about the Trestman calls that cost the Bears at least two games this year. Make no mistake about it though, the defense was the number one reason why the Bears aren’t still playing. It’s time for Emery to do his magic.
