Oh, look. ThomASS is pissing off his players.

by

First off, I want to congratulate Jimmy Butler on playing nearly 44 minutes in last night’s game against the Suns. ThomASS really loves driving his players into the ground with high minutes. And for what? The 5th seed in the East and one game above .500? No thank you.

Alright, now to my point of this article. The other day, Carlos Boozer tells reporters that he would like to play more, especially late in games instead of sitting on the bench. Now, I have given Boozer a lot of undeserved crap over the years with his tendency to yell at himself on the court and look like a clown in the process. I will say this, he has been the most consistent player on the Bulls since his arrival. I believe he has played in the most games and has always given a consistent effort. That being said, he does suck on defense and that’s why he isn’t playing late in games.

After his comments, Thibodeau decided to tell the media that basically, Carlos needs to shut up and just take it. He then went on to say that players like Taj Gibson never complain about playing time. “That’s what I love about Taj” was his exact quote after making the comment about how he never complains.

I am going to defend Carlos Boozer here. You can’t blame the guy for saying he wants to be in the game playing. Everyone else sitting on the bench wishes they could be out there playing. Most wouldn’t say anything because they are professionals. But I applaud Boozer for this. It’s about time someone steps up. ThomASS, since his arrival, has enjoyed not playing many people and the ones that are in the game (i.e. Jimmy Butler), are playing nearly the entire game. Players like Erik Murphy and Tony Snell wish they could play more 30 seconds a game. With Carlos, I don’t think his comments warranted a controversy nor criticism. It was a professional speaking out and saying he wants to play more. No one deserves that. He may not be a Bull next season but I give him an incredible amount of respect for speaking up. He knows that his head coach is PATHETIC and will continue to be that way.

Just wait until he’s about 30 years old, which will be in less than a year and a half, when his body starts breaking down and he starts getting injured during warm ups. I’ll bet he might have something to say then. And I’m really getting tired of hearing people kiss his ass too. I heard someone this morning on the Score call this assbag an “elite” NBA coach. If he’s an elite coach, I’m fucking Batman!

  2. Fro Dog Says:

Wait just a second here. All this time that I thought you were Batman, wasn’t true?

    DAMNIT!!!!!!

  3. chucky Says:

    No, I’m not Batman.

I’m fucking Superman! And Thibodeau STILL isn’t an elite coach.

  4. genrebuster Says:

PATHETIC is such a great word, fellas!

  5. Fro Dog Says:

Yes it is. I have to give you and Captain Kirk credit for encouraging me to use that word often. Thank you.

Chucky, I forgot about this until now. TNA is coming to Dekalb this Saturday. I figured, I’d throw in $15 and go watch the show. I think the main event is Magnus vs. Bully Ray or something. Oh well. It’s WRASSLIN’, right?

Also, Raw is coming to Rosemont March 3rd. I haven’t bought tickets yet but I know you wanted to go. Let me know what you want to do.

  6. chucky Says:

Thanks Fro, but I just can’t. I still am having a lot of back issues, and now my right shoulder is completely shot again. And I have nothing to really fight it right now. If Raw or Smackdown comes to town later in the year I’ll try.

And on that note, how about a wrestling article sometime soon? There is a lot going on these days. CM Punk walking out(?), Sting being very close to signing with WWE, the total disintegration of TNA, and the emergance of a new guy in WWE that I think can be absolutely huge, if used correctly. Any guesses as to who am talking about? But I think you’re overdue for a wrestling article.

  7. Fro Dog Says:

I know. I’ve been so busy with a lot of things so I will try to get something going eventually. Maybe next week.

By the way, the new guy, Alexander Rusev? I am not so sure but it’s better than what they have now. They totally screwed up everybody else that came through the minors the last few years. Wade Barrett was a guy I thought was going to be huge and instead, his gimmick is now is pretty funny but still not used properly. It’s a shame.

  8. chucky Says:

Nope. Not Rusev. The guy I was talking about is Roman Reigns. He’s about the closest thing I’ve seen that could be “the total package”, no pun intended. He’s got charisma, a physique that is very impressive without the roided out look(i.e.Big E. Langston) and over all a million dollar look. Even Kevin Nash pegged him as a future World Champion. He’s completely blowing the doors off Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Rollins might make it, he has potential. But I’ve got to be honest, what the hell does anybody see in Ambrose anyway. His moveset in the ring gives false hope of WWE stardom to kids with MS, his voice sounds like he’s sucked down a tank of helium with a fifth of scotch for a chaser, and his facial expressions makes him look like he needs a bathroom really, really bad, to put it mildly. He fuckin sucks!

  9. Fro Dog Says:

The thing about Ambrose was that he was suppose to be the star out of the three. He was really hyped up before the debut and a year or so before that, he was the guy that was talked about. I think his tone is more so, playing the character. They will probably split up after Wrestlemania.

I really do like Rollins. I think Reigns really put himself out there at the Rumble. That being said, he was being cheered because no one wanted to see Batista win when it just came down to those two. I think we’ll see Reigns win the title in the next year or two. But like you said, they have to be careful with him and not screw shit up like they are doing with Bryan, Swagger, Ziggler and Barrett.

  10. chucky Says:

Reigns was getting cheered even before the Rumble. You’re right, nobody wanted to see Batista win it, myself included. But also, remember his performance at Survivor Series. He eliminated four guys by himself! His performances have been outstanding. I’ve been reading that there are long term plans in the works for a huge babyface run for Reigns. I hope they follow through on it, because it’s not just Batista that people aren’t interested in seeing anymore. Orton, Cena, HHH, and even Sheamus, I’m looking at you.

I remember what they were going to do with Ambrose. He was supposed to feud with, of all people, Mick Foley. I don’t remember why they pulled the plug on that one. Maybe because Foley is too busted up, or they knew it would just stink up the joint.

Mac, CS, Nemo and everyone else:

Our ladies in the red, white and blue defeated Finland early Saturday morning. Hilary Knight, who is known around here as the future Mrs. Fro Dog, scored a goal less than two minutes into the game and that they ended up winning 3-1. They face Sweden on Monday at 4:00 a.m.

FroDog, since the Black Hawks are on Olympics vacay, and the State of Illinois’ college basketball scene is a total wasteland (FIGHTING ILLINI. LAST IN THE B1G. BEHIND NORTHWESTERN AND PENN STATE.) Here’s a second vote on that wresting article. CM Punk? Sting at God-alone-knows-how-old-he is? TNA meltdown? That’s some fascinating shyte right thurr…

  13. Cubs Bears Bulls Sox Suck Says:

Great Job USA Hockey! Hockey, Snowboarding, and The Jamaican Bobsledding Team are the only events im interested in, I feel a “Cool Runnings” remake coming soon!

  14. Fro Dog Says:

I will get to those WRASSLIN’ articles soon. Also, I want to congratulate the Bulls on their great victory over the Super Lakers on Sunday afternoon. The Bulls had a 19-point lead only to see it dwindle to four in the final minute. Joakim Noah’s excuse after the game: “It’s the NBA”. No Jo. It’s YOUR team’s fault.

Also, ThomASS had Butler and Noah over 40 minutes and Gibson was over 45.

  15. MadCityMac Says:

Fro, our girl Hilary scored once against the Swiss; 9-0 win I believe? Another former Badger Brianna Decker also had a goal, and Amanda Kessel, sister of Maple Leaf Phil and a native Madisonian, had 2 goals and a third one taken away. Amanda isn’t the goddess that Hilary is, but she IS a little cutie as well. Also I believe another former Badger and Madison native (Cottage Grove actually) Jessie Vetter was in goal for the shutout. Good day for the homies!
