Devin Hester announced on Wednesday that the Bears are going in another direction with him and that he will seek a new employer. I would assume this is more of a money issue rather than a performance one. Most people, even at this site, will disagree with what I am about to say but that’s fine. I know I am in the minority when I say that getting rid of Hester isn’t a great idea. I am not sure if the Bears were willing to negotiate or not but Hester may be demanding more money than they want to offer. And that’s fine. I am going to miss him. I know the whole he was crying and pissed when Lovie was tossed. Sadly, Hester was basically brainwashed by that impostor for a head coach. Combine that with the idiot that was Jerry Angelo, who gave in to the brainwashed Hester demands of being paid as a wide receiver.
I’ll never forget the game that Devin Hester took back two kicks against the Rams on a Monday night game in 2006. After that game, the moron that was, Lovie Smith, told reporters that “we should try getting this guy on offense”. From that night on, Devin Hester’s career was about to enter a tailspin. Before the morons arrive, yes, he is the all-time leader for touchdown returns. However, he would be much ahead of that record had Lovie Smith not spew bullshit into his head during those years. It fucked with him and his performance suffered. I can’t help but continue to blame the two morons in Angelo and Smith for ruining his career. It’s so frustrating because the Bears have won games because of him and if he was strictly a returner in those years like he should have been, they could have had the chance to win more.
Once again, I understand the move completely. The Bears need to free up cap space to sign potential free agents and potential draft picks. The Bears are in dire need of help on defense and if they are going to get better, they need to have as much as money as possible to make that happen.
So far, the Bears let go Adam Podlesh and I think everyone, including me, is fine with that. He sucked. They re-signed Jay Ratliff and it looks like, they are going to draft a defensive tackle or two in the first three rounds. Whatever the Bears can do to fix one of the worst defenses in NFL history is fine with me. Charles Tillman and Julius Peppers could be out the door as well.
Out with the old. In with the new.

It would be great if the Bears get it together on Defense. I will watch them when they are on defense and watch something else when they are on offense with that dickface Cutler at QB. Maybe I can start my own network and it will be the opposite of NFL RedZone and you can just watch your favorite team on defense!

As I stated in the previous thread, I’ll bet money that Hester and Tillman both end up in Lovieville. The way that douchecopter Urlacher has spoken in the past, I’m surprised that dumbass shitbag hasn’t announced that he’s coming out of retirement to play for Mr. Chinscar. Cleaning up the fuckin mess left behind by the incompetent, arrogant assbags Smith and Angelo will take more than a couple of years to clean up.

Well, Emery, so far, has been a miracle worker on offense with Trestman so anything is possible. Yes, this is Emery’s third offseason so it is taking time. If he can work his magic with this free agency and draft on defense, the Bears can be serious contenders this upcoming season.

Fro…..do you think Hester and Tillman will be going to Tampa Bay?
March 6, 2014 at 5:48 pm
I’d say so. Apparently, Lovie has powers that brainwashes the dumb. When I think of Tillman being a dumbass, I think of the game, ironically, against Tampa Bay in 2008. The Bears allowed Brian Griese to throw 61 pass attempts and not get sacked once. The Bears should have won the game but let them tie it which led to overtime. The defense actually stopped the Buccaneers in overtime. However, Tillman thought it would be cool to punch another player while he was on the ground. It ended up being an unnecessary roughness penalty, the Buccaneers drove the ball down and won it on a field goal..

It’s almost like he’s some damn cult leader. We may wake up one morning to the news that the entire Tampa Bay Buccaneer team is dead from drinking cyanide laced Kool-Aid. Scary shit man.

What is it that you said about two years ago?
“The power of Lovie compels you”?
Exactly.
March 6, 2014 at 6:36 pm
Yeah, from “The Exorcist”. The only thing that cocksucker ever compelled me to do was hurl.
Fro…did you by chance notice a guy on Monday who was sitting to the right of you(Probably the length of the ring) hold a sign that said “Terra Ryzin” Does that name ring a bell with you, or anybody else here? He seemed to vanish less than an hour into the show, so I was wondering if his sign got yanked.
March 6, 2014 at 6:53 pm
WOW I vaguely remembered the name “Terra Ryzin” from the old WCW days and just researched it to find its Paul Levesque before he was better known as HHH.
March 6, 2014 at 7:16 pm
BINGO!
He even got a couple of TV title matches against Larry Zbyszko when he held that belt. Try and find a picture of him from those days. Goddamn, he had a fucking hairdo then!
Good memory CBBSS.

March 6, 2014 at 8:04 pm

March 6, 2014 at 8:06 pm
You knew. I should have read your second post. I’m a dumbass.
March 6, 2014 at 9:38 pm
I didn’t see the sign you were mentioning. I watched the first part of Raw yesterday on Mun2. I will watch the whole thing Saturday night on Universal.
I also read a bit about WWE and their negotiations with other channels about a new TV deal. Supposedly, WWE is expected to have the largest TV deal in history for any team/company. They probably will re-up with USA but right now, they’re taking bids. In the United Kingdom, WWE already signed a new TV deal and it was many millions more than the last one.
WWE is worth billions and so is Vinny Mac. Their stock is higher than ever and is making me interested in buying some. With the Network in place, WWE has every TV company by the balls. They say Spike TV has a chance to outbid USA and if that does happen, TNA is completely screwed. No other station wants TNA and as I wrote last month, that TV deal is the only thing keeping TNA alive right now.

Please WWE, sign with Spike, sign with Spike, sign with Spike………

Looks like the Obamanator isnt going to be happy until we are at war with Russia. Fyi the largest nuke in the USA arsenal is “Castle Bravo” a 15 megaton warhead. Russia has “Tsar Bomba” a 100 megaton warhead. Anyone wanna move to Canada?
March 7, 2014 at 4:04 pm
I don’t think that would be far enough. Maybe somewhere near Saturn.
March 8, 2014 at 7:01 am
Does anyone here plan on signing up for the WWE Network?
March 8, 2014 at 12:38 pm
Im going to check out the free week trial. I was hoping you could cash it in a get some free wrestlemania but that was wishful thinking , the free trial will not be available during ppv’s. I doubt I will full subscribe its kinda pricey, maybe if they have a package later without the ppvs thats around $8 a month Ill get it for the 80’s and 90’s glory days.
