Just when most thought that the Blackhawks would roll through the Wild like they did last year, now, some may be worrying. I am not panicking yet concerned would be the right word. The wheels have come off in these last two games. The Blackhawks and Wild were scoreless going into the third period of Game Three, only to fall apart. Game Four arrives and they were completely outplayed from the start. The Wild score and the Blackhawks responded back two different times to tie it. Then, the Wild pull away right after.
The Blackhawks have been in this position two different times under Joel Quenneville and they came back to win the series both times. The first time coming in 2009 in the first round against the Flames. The Blackhawks won the first two, lost the next two on the road and then came back to win the last two. The second time was in 2010 in the Final against the Flyers. Won the first two home, lose the next two on the road and proceed to win the next two, ultimately leading to the Cup.
If any team can do it again, it’s the Blackhawks.

Fro,
Yeah, they looked really flat in the game last night. They didn’t really start playing hard until they were down by 2. I’m not even looking at the score; just looking at the effort. The Hawks have to remember that they’re the defending Stanley Cup Champions…everyone is looking to knock them out of the playoffs. Our PK has been outstanding, but you can’t expect to give that many Power Play opportunities and continue to control the game. Lastly, there are times that the boys just need to clear the zone, instead of trying to be cute. There have been more than a few times when the Wild has pushed the issue and have had the odd man rush.
I’m still thinking that we come home tomorrow and own them on home ice.
Later,
Jimmy D.

That is interesting. I figured, you would be happy that they picked up a quarterback. I was surprised that they took one too.
By the way, the Bears have also signed Jordan Lynch. Let the meatball fest begin.
I thought the Bears should have drafted a linebacker. I like Bostic and Greene and even though the entire defense sucked last year, I would have liked them to draft another one just in case one or both don’t pan out. They ended up taking a punter and offensive tackle with the final two picks.
Oh, by the way, shame on all NFL teams for not taking Michael Sam until the last few picks of the last draft. This guy was suppose to be a second or third round pick and instead, regardless of what any team says, wouldn’t pick him when he was suppose to be drafted because he came out in the winter. The Rams got a steal. He was Defensive Player of The Year in the toughest conference in college football.

I was shocked when they let AJ Mccarron slip at the 5th round. I guess they didnt want the media circus that came along. Him and Manziel will be the rookie QB’s I will be keeping an eye on this season.
Jordan Lynch was a Heisman candidate and went undrafted? Nice to give the local kid a shot!
Michal Sam regardless the sexual preference, again, the media circus. I think that hat a little to do with it.I know we had this conversation before but I will say it again.. Who gives a shit if he is gay? But we will all have to here all about it every time the media gets a chance to put it in our faces… Ugh!

His teammate Kony Ealy also dropped a bit from where experts were projecting him. I’m sure the gay part played a part in Sam’s fall but I doubt NFL teams really had him listed as a 2nd-3rd round talent before those comments. Probably more around 4-5.
I doubt the Rams would’ve even taken him if it weren’t for the local connections (U of Missouri … St. Louis Rams). Great PR for them though.

Is James Russell good for anything, aside from serving up batting practice to opposing teams? Jesus, he’s turned into a worthless pile of dog shit. And I’ve seen all I need to see of “Ricky”. Fucking useless, grinning idiot.
