I know, I’m a little late to the party but I finally have time to comment on this move. So far, the Bears are looking fairly decent in the meaningless preseason. Last year, the defense was completely dominant in the preseason and I was ready to naked cartwheels in the streets. Then, the regular season arrived and we all saw happened (even when they were healthy). So who knows. Maybe the opposite is happening this year?
Here’s some good news: Eric Weems is finally gone. This guy really sucked. Last year, I was found saying in the recaps and to others that I did not understand what purpose Eric Weems has being on the Bears, or any other team. Eric Weems is not a football player and never has been a football player. Maybe this guy isn’t really named Eric Weems and it was possible that this guy that looks just like him, captured the real Eric Weems and is locking him up somewhere while stealing his identity. He should also be arrested for stealing from the Bears.
I am not sure how much Santonio Holmes has left in him but he was MVP of a Super Bowl and the Bears don’t need him to do much. But it doesn’t hurt to have a guy of his talent on this team. Trestman said that people can change through time and maybe his work ethnic will now that he is on a contender. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a privilege to be in the NFL and it might have been possible that he didn’t give a shit with the Jets because, let’s face it, it’s the Jets. I don’t hate the Jets but they did suck the last couple of years and that probably attributed to him not caring as much (along with his injuries). Maybe he’s ready to go or maybe he’s not. No matter what though, he’s not Eric Weems (or the guy pretending to be him).

Thank fucking god Weems is out. Now, next on the list…Chris Conte. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT be fooled by this guy. I don’t give a shit how well he is doing so far this year. When the regular season starts, he will return to his sucking, shitty play. Take it to the bank. People on the radio seem to be walking on eggshells with him, not wanting to fall on the wrong side of his suckage. After Conte is gone the next on the list is the ever shitty Shea McClellin. Time to cut bait with this fucking hack too. He’s not an NFL caliber player either.

The way I see it, McClellin can stick around for this year. With his new position, we’ll see what happens. The line is stacked, so you would think he would better playing behind them. This also depends on how Briggs, Bostic and Williams are. If those guys aren’t at the top of their game, McClellin is going to look terrible no matter what.
Obviously, I agree about Conte. The writing is almost on the wall too with him being dropped on the depth chart. The further he goes, the more likely he is to be cut. The Bears won’t lose much.
Give Shea one more chance. The Bears need every linebacker they can handle.

Mcclellin should never have been a DE. he’s a linebacker, pure and simply. if not a SAM, then the rushing Linebacker in a 3 4 pass rush package.
conte sucks horribly. he can not be relied upon. luckily we got other options
for the return game, now that useless weems is gone, chris williams might be the return man we need.

Sadly, it seems Dan Bernstein is on his fucking bullshit crusade to get the Washington Redskins to change their name. The problem now it seems, is that Mike Ditka has chimed in, in support of the Redskins keeping their name.
This is getting absolutely fucking pathetic. We’ve discussed this before in this forum. Aside from the stupid assholes who have nothing else better to do in their nonexistent lives, who in the fuck is that name offending? Seriously, the only complaints I’ve ever heard have been from the losers looking for some “cause” to fight for. I find it rather strange that the people who they claim are offended by the name, native Americans, have been silent on this subject. Maybe they have said something about it, but I sure haven’t heard it. I have heard assclowns like Bernstein whine and complain like a fucking bitch about it. And I’ve heard him whine about often. And it’s getting old and pathetic. He claims he thinks Ditka may be losing his marbles a little bit, but when Bernstein goes off like he does, I wonder who is really losing their marbles. Personally, at this moment, my vote goes to Bernstein. If nothing else, he’s sounds like a goddamned idiot. Bernstein, you’re on the wrong side of this issue, and your best bet is to shut the fuck up.

Rose had two major knee surgeries in about 19 months. And I am not a doctor, but from what I understand, his “soreness” is going to be there forever. He’s going to have to get use to it. There will be games throughout the season that he will need miss just to rest. Knowing who the coach of the Bulls though, I highly doubt that will even happen. I guarantee that in the first ten games of the season, he will be playing at least 40 minutes in half of them.

Chucky, I forgot to add my thoughts on the comment about the Redskins. I know we talked a bit about this a while back. What the hell is Bernstein’s problem? He did the same thing regarding the Penn State crap and probably still discusses it every now and then. He just beat those two topics up so badly, that Boers is probably getting tired of it.
I am not in a position to say whether or not, they should change the name. My only question is, why didn’t anybody make a big deal out of it, say, 20 years ago? Is it just because of the internet? I don’t understand it. The last few years is when I started hearing all about this. Just let it go.

Fro….no problem. The deal with Bernstein is that, plain and simple, he’s a bandwagon jumper. Always has been, always will be. I’ll cut him some slack on Penn State, because that whole situation was vile, all the way from that goddamned Sandusky to the utterly stupid defense of that old bastard Joe Paterno. I didn’t mind him going off on that. But the Redskins thing rose up…..again, and he felt the need to jump back on that….again. The factor that tipped it for Bernstein though I think was Ditka chiming in on it, in favor of the Redskins name. It’s no secret that Bernstein hates Ditka, and every damn thing he stands for. Don’t ask me why, I’ll never know. I don’t understand what the big deal is. I probably never will understand. Somebody, anybody, please explain to me just what the fuck is offensive about the “Redskins”. But the thing is, I’d bet money right now that if Ditka hadn’t said anything, we wouldn’t be talking about this now. It all boils down to the massive boner Danny Bernstein has for Mike Ditka.

Earlier this week in the state I live in (Tennessee) a high school student was allegedly suspended for offending someone after she told a student “bless you” after a sneeze.
Like, holy shit. People literally get butt hurt and go into rage mode over someone saying “bless you.” This political correct needs to stop.
