This site is ran by two long time Chicago Bear fans who have been using this site since 2008 and as a group since 2005 to get rid of certain sports figures in Chicago sports such as Jerry Angelo, Lovie Smith and current Chicago Bulls head coach, Tom Thibodeau. 5. Kenny Albert – No. He’s not the reason why this man on the list. I just really hate Kenny Albert. He has replaced Dick Stockton as the new kiss of death to Chicago sports teams.
6. Saying “ignorance is not an excuse” when discussing the New Orleans Saints situation two years ago.

Admittedly, I haven’t dug too deep into the Ray Rice fiasco. That’s because I am am truly sick and tired of the world of absolute motherfuckery that professional sports has become. I went to SI.com to see if they had the weekend NFL predictions, scanned the headlines for about five seconds then just said “fuck this” and bailed. 5-10 articles about the Rice fiasco, two more about the Atlanta Hawks owner and GM suddenly being “racists”…the sports page is supposed to be about man’s triumphs, and saving the other bulshit for the front page.
IDGAF what happens to Goddell, but I can say it’s just one more example of mankind not knowing how to uphold law and order and carry out justice properly.
And I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…it is absolute BULLSHIT for the dumbass hipster elite on Deadspin (and their mouth-breathing rank-and-file troll posters) to piss and moan about RRAAAACISM on every. Goddamned. Post. When 80% of the foul-ass bullshit being done is by black athletes. I didn’t know the name of the Hawks owner until that article came out last week (and that’s how it’s supposed to be, sports fans!); this man has paid hundreds of black men to play NBA basketball for his team, and one email makes him Simon fucking Legree? He’s an NBA owner, not a plantation overseer.
How many black athletes have been arrested for doing shit for the stupid (getting DUIs while having the salary to afford a limo service) to the violent (Michael Vick and too many others to list?). How about that idiot WR on “hard Knocks” who couldn’t even name one of his many children? How many black athletes (fuck that how many athletes PERIOD?) do we have running around with xx children by x baby mamas? And now everybody’s a racist like we still have the KKK doing public marches? The last time I saw the KKK was about 20 years ago on Jerr Springer; but we did see street gangs in Chicago hold a press conference about alleged police brutality and harassment. And there’s the Trayvon and Michael Brown bullshit circuses, but maybe I’m going too far…
Goodell is just the tip of the iceberg, and Fro Dog hit every nail on the head. Let me add Goddell talking shit about expansion teams in London and the 18 game schedule. London: Seriously? How long do you think that American ex-pats and US servicemen stationed in the UK and Europe are going to put up with maximum asshole owners, ignorant GMs, worthless coaches, and 2-14 football? Does he seriously think a nation weaned on the English Premier League is going to suddenly break down the walls of Wembley Stadium to watch shitty NFL football? As for the 18 game schedule: has he seen the injury reports from this week? By the end of the season, you’ll have teams with depleted rosters calling in every bum they can find from off the street, and the talent level will dip (and the games will suck even more than they do now).
Penn State. Penn. Fucking. State. Really? Seriously? If any fan base deserved a generation of 0-12 football every season, it was that one. And now the NCAA is lifting the sanctions? Holy shit, SMU paid for their sins in full, and they’ve yet to fully recover; I wonder how they feel about that shit?
I have never been more ready to check out of professional sports. Even the Fire and Passion are shitting their pants on a weekly basis. I know it’s a new coach and system, but if they’d stop fucking around and do their damn jobs, they’d be in the playoff picture by now. The WNBA team, the Chicago Sky, got curb-stomped in both games, and are one more loss away from being swept. No Blackhawks and Bulls for another month-plus.

I don’t have kids myself, but I do have a niece and a nephew, age 23 and 20 respectively. I had the PRIVILIDGE of watching them grow up, play with them as kids, hold them, and do all sorts of things with them. I taught my nephew how to play the old 80’s video game Galaga. He got better at the game than I ever was. Then I hear shit like this. I hope this cocksucker lands in a prison where he gets the fucking, goddamned shit kicked out of him. Personally, the first thing that I think of when I think of Roger Goodell is the following: I can’t tell you how shaken I was after Junior Seau shot himself in the heart. I knew that there were thousands, if not millions, of people, like myself, that were terribly shaken, to the point of being beside themselves. I desperately needed someone in authority or leadership to step up. The day after Junior committed suicide, the only remark from the commissioner’s office was that they were exploring doing away with the point after TDs.

I seriously need to get into another line of work; thought I had a possibility of a marketing job at a brewery (I know, “kid in a candy store”!), but the thought of going back to working lots of nights and weekends sucks goat balls, so….
On another note, it was a sad week for the lower Eastside of Madison when Bobby Suter from the “Miracle on Ice” hockey team died of a heart attack on Tuesday. I went to high school with him, though he was 2 years ahead of me. Hell of a guy who did a lot of good for hockey in the Mad City. Didn’t know him too well but it still hit like a kick in the nuts when I heard the news.

The thing I don’t understand about the Ray Rice incident is this current suspension. By no means am I defending him, but the year long suspension is a little fucked up. Only because first it was 2 games, then after handing out that suspension they say anyone caught beating woman in the future will be suspended 6 games on the first offense and lifetime the second. So now there is a video “The Punch” so that makes the suspension indefinite. That is kind of like saying that if you beat your wife and we find out you are only suspended 6 games, but if its on video its the full year.
