Well, I’ll believe it when I see it but that’s what I heard on The Score earlier. Apparently, ownership met last night after the game (why now?) and decided that getting rid of this coaching staff would be best. I agree.
I sure pray this comes to fruition in two weeks. I said in the previous post that Emery seems to have done his part but if this means he has to go, then fine with me. Go get a general manager who will then, hire an actual head coach with actual coordinators. Then, find actual football players (53 of them, to be exact) to help this team succeed and win a Super Bowl. I am sick of this nonsense garbage and everyone else is too.

Looks like if ya take a shove at McCaskey it’s only a misdemeanor battery!

Damn. Well, technically, it is assault. And in today’s world, you can get arrested for anything.
This season needs to hurry up and end. I think what pisses me off the most is that when January comes around, the playoffs are here and the Bears are, once again, absent.

It’s obvious. The entire coaching staff should be fired. Trestman may have some success as a coordinator elsewhere, but he and his coaches have lost this team. I see no evidence that Trestman can win in the NFL coaching the Bears.
I could care less if Emery stays, too. Why? Because somebody fucked up and chased Bruce Arians away (he can obviously coach in the NFL). The GM must assume partial responsibility.
http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2014/10/29/bruce-arians-was-bothered-by-several-developments-in-2013-interview-with-bears/
I don’t care if stepped in tomorrow….the Bears will NEVER win with the current coaching staff. And if Cutler doesn’t grow up, decide to be a leader, and get his game together SOON…then he should be dumped, too…after next season would make sense, right? I don’t think he’s trade-able/worth much now.
That Cutler press conference was PATHETIC. Show some fucking emotion. Get pissed off. Do SOMETHING.
December 17, 2014 at 7:02 am
Emery has to go too. They absolutely CANNOT let him hire another coach. It’ll turn into Clown College 2.0. As far as I’m concerned, Ted Phillips should be shown the fucking door too. This has become so toxic that they can’t keep anybody or anything from this regime. I have absolutely fucking had it with the Bears. Trestman is supposed to have a press conference today at 12:30. Great! More word salad bullshit from this goddamned dork. I can’t even listen to this shit anymore.

Apparently when you post with parenthesis, they and the text contained don’t appear…go figure…
In my previous post it should read:
I don’t care if INSERT NAME OF YOUR FAVORITE QB HERE stepped in tomorrow….the Bears will NEVER win with the current coaching staff.
I don’t want Mitch screaming at me.

I say the Bears should clean house. Fire the entire coaching staff, Emery, and Philips. Try to trade Jay.
December 17, 2014 at 2:18 pm
Trestman did it again in his press conference after the game on Monday. The same old “We have to look at the tape” bullshit was spewed. In addition, he said he liked his team’s effort and that they didn’t give up.
It’s clear that there is a lack of trust and communication with that team. All that crap about effort is nonsense. The players quit on him a long time ago.
December 17, 2014 at 6:22 pm
Trestman has lost his damn mind. It’s pathetic.
December 17, 2014 at 6:47 pm
Long-time lurker, first-time poster. When I heard that Cutler got benched, I just had to finally create an account.
So…they’re going to bench him now?! With 2 games left?! They should’ve done this a month (or longer) ago! I think they did this just to save the overpaid diabetic from getting paralyzed by Ndamukong Suh. Signing Cutler to his ridiculous contract has to be in the Hall of Fame of dumb football decisions. They are totally screwed. It’ll cost them a fortune to get rid of him. Maybe they should let Suh murder him. That would void the contract right?
I’ve given up all hope for this team.
December 17, 2014 at 7:12 pm
Welcome Blizzard, glad you decided to chime in! It’s ok to call the guy your talking about Dickface. That’s the name I have been using for several years now. I think your actually on to something with the using Suh as a “Hitman” thing. I would run to get me a Kromer jersey if he tipped a couple plays towards the Lions D to line up a free shot at Dickface.
Wonder how Goodell would handle that one?
Don’t have ANY hope for the Bears as long as Dickface is the QB…. ANY.
December 17, 2014 at 7:46 pm
What took so damn long? Apparently, management is behind the curve on this one.
Dickface should have been benched after they were eliminated from playoff contention or even earlier in other’s opinions. It’s clear Dickface doesn’t care when he threw three “fuck it” passes that all ended up being interceptions on Monday night. Then, when he had the right idea in throwing a pass to a wide open receiver, it’s overthrown. That’s actually how it’s been for him ever since he arrived. I did everything I could to give this guy a pass. Enough already.
Ted Phillips should go too. He’s the one hiring Emery. George McCaskey needs to fucking do something about this because Ted Phillips has been here way too fucking long as well.
The Bears organization is a fucking train wreck right now from top to bottom.
December 17, 2014 at 10:47 pm
They should start David Fales instead of Clausen. The Bears owe to it everybody to start him instead of Clausen has already played games in the NFL. He isn’t the future of this team and Fales may not be either, but they should at least get an idea of what to do when the draft and training camp arrives.

I’m getting fed up with Deadspin, and Drew Magary’s turning into a whiny little hipster bitch, but he does have a point here:

Late response, but thanks for the welcome, CBSS.
Wow, instead of Suh taking out Clausen, it was Ansah. I was close. The lions are a bunch of dirty bastards. Anybody see Suh intentionally step on Aaron Rodgers’ ankle last night? Ah, screw the Packers. We have firings to track!
