IF Cutler stays, I don’t see how he and Trestman can effectively work together…I base this on what we’ve seen for the last 2 seasons.
What’s the best option, weighing all the factors (salaries, current players/coaches/front office, rebuilding)?
This train wreck should have never happened, and somebody “high up” should be held accountable; several people, IMOP.

Today in the press conference, George says that Virginia is “pissed off” that the Bears suck. He seemed pissed too.
But what pissed me off as well as everyone else here, is that Ted Phillips still, has not been removed as the president of this team. I know that he said he won’t be involved in any football decisions, but he should still be removed as far away from the team as possible. Put him as a cross-guard at Soldier Field for the idiots like myself that walk from the South lot/McCormick Place to Soldier Field. Just keep him away.
As far as the other coaches and coordinators are concerned, I read online that the reason why Tucker and others haven’t been tossed yet, is because the Bears told them to look for other work. That way, the Bears may not be on the hook for their entire salary if they were to get a job somewhere else. It was like the Lovie situation. He sat home getting his money but if he were to get another coaching job that following year, the Bears would only pay what remaining money the other team doesn’t get.
