Final open thread of 2015

by

Well, folks, it’s another year in the books for us here. Some of us celebrated another Stanley Cup by the Blackhawks. We also congratulated each other on making it another year on this website that was started in 2008. I just cannot believe that as a group, it’s been nearly ten years of people coming and going with some sticking around. It just sucks that only a few of us have actually met each other.

That’s why for 2016, I say let’s make it a goal for all of us to meet in the city for a night of food and a game. That means our friends from Wisconsin as well as some of you guys who are in other states. If it’s possible, we should make it happen.

Happy New Year everybody.

Happy New Year guys. I for one am ready to turn the page on 2015.

My buddy invited me to this pub in Bucktown tonight and I am not a fan of these “hip” bars. If it sucks, I am heading out. I’ll let you know if I run into any bar skanks. I’ve said this over the years but if they smell like old cigarettes, I’m going for it.

Happy New Years guys, Dougie Mcbuckets, Jimmy G Buckets, Nikola Mirotic, and Bobby Portis are killing it tonight

GARY, the Bulls outscored the Knicks 31-8 in the 4th quarter. The team only committed eight turnovers. Everybody in uniform played, too. That’s fucking splendid.

Yeah, the Bulls pissed away an 18-point lead that they achieved in the first half. That pisses me off. But, I know for sure that if the dip shit who was coaching this team the previous five years were still around, they would have lost this game by ten. McDermott, Portis and Snell wouldn’t even get a chance to sniff the court if ThomASS was still the coach.

This year’s team, for the most part, comes back from those slumps and finds a way to win. And they did this without Derrick Rose. They have won four out of the last five and swept the homestand going 3-0.

Anybody miss ThomASS now? I didn’t think so. The Bulls have a better chance to win the NBA Finals with Hoiberg than they do with ThomASS.

…rumor has it that ThomASS had dinner at Dusty’s last night…(?).

2015 was a challenge for many….here’s to a happy, healthy, safe and prosperous 2016, to all of you and yours!

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
