As you can see, the header as been changed as we are now, Fire John Fox. I have given up on the Bulls attempting to make any kind of change whatsoever in management. John Paxson and Gar Forman will never be fired. I bet if John Paxson tells a homeless person to get a job with all of the news stations in the city broadcasting it, the idiot will probably be given a raise by the old and senile, Jerry Reinsdorf. Fuck this.
Now, the focus shifts to John Fox and the Chicago Bears as training camp has just begun. As the bottom of the header says, we are just getting a head start on the inevitable. It will be like the Bears when injuries begin happening and Ted Phillips goes on TV to tell the whole world that he likes what he sees. I want Ted Phillips to be fired and be seen working at a White Castle. I swear to God, he looks like a manager at a White Castle. It’s time for him to live up to that.

Okay, Fro, I’m going to put you on the spot; if you had the power to choose the next coach of the Bears, who would you choose. And you cannot choose someone who will never leave their present job, e.g. Nick Saban or Bill Belichek. Assistants, College, or present Head Coaches who might be persuaded to leave. Who would you choose? And, could you present them a deal they couldn’t refuse?
Go for it.
Oh, and one other thing I was tossing around in my head; I’m a huge Packer fan as you know, and I am pleased that the Super Bowl trophy is named after Lombardi. But, I think there should be a trophy named after George S. Halas. MVP maybe? What do you think?

Ernie, to address your last point, the NFC Championship Trophy is the George S. Halas Trophy. For the AFC, it’s the Lamar Hunt.
As far as a head coach is concerned, nobody wants Saban in the NFL anymore. He was a disaster. That’s how many coaches are. They either are really good in college and bad in the NFL or vice versa. That could be said for basketball coaches as well (see: John Calipari in the NBA).
It’s tough to say who I want for a coach now. After Lovie was tossed (and then Trestman), anyone could have said Bruce Arians. To show you how shitty this franchise is, they made Arians do a mock press conference for an interview. Yes, that is true. And they still passed him for Trestman. Do I trust the Bears to hire another head coach? No. Nobody who’s a fan does or should.
If I am running this team, I would have wanted Todd Bowels (before he went to the Jets) or Bill Cowher. I know that may make me sound like a meatball and so be it. Cowher seems to be doing just fine sitting in a warm seat in New York being an analyst for the NFL on CBS. Something tells me he won’t go back into coaching unless it was the right situation. But this is all hypothetical anyway. Coaching candidates are everywhere, if that makes sense. Every year, a ton more emerge.

Fro, you’re forgetting something here. The thing you’re forgetting is who owns this team. Namely, THE OLD BITCH., along with her idiot family, dipshit Michael, and slightly less of a dipshit George. Firing John Fox won’t accomplish one single change. Remember last year when I said that less than a year into his tenure, that Fox sounds a lot like all the Bears previous head coaches. I swear that the head coaches comments are scripted for them. The McCaskeys are just as stupid and retarded as Jerry Reinsdork. So when the Bears finally do part company with Fox, they’ll just replace one disaster with another. Just look at the fucking doofus they hired after they FINALLY shitcanned Lovie. They hired that fucking moron with his bullshit “toolbox of concepts” over Bruce Arians. We need to do something to get rid of the goddamn McCaskey family. Otherwise I promise you, it’ll just be more of the same bullshit as before.
Just out of curiosity, what did you guys think of the post game shows the Score had after the games? I personally thought they sucked. Williams, Kreutz, and Arkush had zero chemistry together, and they just bored me to death. Do you know if OB just didn’t want to come back after Buffone’s death, or did the Score not want him back, or what? I sure did miss the old shows. Do you miss them too?

Chucky; thanks for the memories, Doug Buffone, Richie Pettibone, Bill George, Mike Ditka, Bill Wade. Those are the guys I used to love to hate as a Packer fan.
Fro, I think Bill Cowher in Chicago would be great! Tough as nails defensive minded coach. I wish the Packers would get him. I don’t like Mike McCarthy as a head coach, too soft for me.
You are right about Saban. He is a college coach, and that is where he will stay.
Here’s two more names that I think would fit in Chicago: Jim or Jon Harbaugh. I would also take a look at Darrell Bevel in Seattle.
But, Chucky is right again (sheesh), ownership calls the shots, and if ownership doesn’t know what they’re doing, then nothing is going to change. Look at the Cubs for the premier example of that!

…is that Fox talking about Sonny in The Godfather?
