Steve Rosenbloom called it right here.
John Fox must be fired by tomorrow. It is a must.
And Nemo, as DVX said, your lady friend was damn near spot-on.
Have at it, Bears’ fans. Your thoughts in the thread.

Assuming that Ryan Pace gives a shit, how has he NOT fired John Fox by now?
Listening to the post game show, Pace and Fox were supposed to figure out how to keep this team from being so injury prone…oh, look the Bears are being gutted by injuries AGAIN.
Just under 20 minutes of possession and 140+ yards of offense…WTF is going on at Halas Hall? WTF are Fox and Loggains doing on the sidelines and at practices? 140+ yards of offense against a 1-10 team? Dafuck?
Does Pace or McCaskey give a shit at this point? What in the hell are they doing?

And the worst part of this is……
Fucking WGN radio preempting Hamp and OB for a goddamned worthless Northwestern basketball game!
FUUUUUUUUUUCCCCKKKK!!!!!!!!!
December 3, 2017 at 3:56 pm
Ugh! I knew the Bears could lose, but I didn’t want to believe her that it would happen that way. Yes, Fox needs to go ASAP.
December 3, 2017 at 3:59 pm
I’ll see WGN radio preempting Hamp and OB for 670playing the “1-877-CAR4KIDS” jingle on every commercial break. Sorry folks, angry Bears fans do dot feel generous when you play annoying music every 10 minutes.
December 3, 2017 at 4:16 pm
DVX, I am guessing you are listening online/on an app? They are horrible with repetitive ads on there. It’s not so bad on the actual radio. But obviously, if you are on the East Coast, it’s nearly impossible to pick up the signal.
December 3, 2017 at 4:18 pm
By the way Chucky, WGN Radio has been horrible with their commercials during the post game shows. While the show may be an hour so, the amount of commercials and times they have to do the news is annoying. It’s almost as if only 15 minutes is spent with the hosts and the other 45 minutes are for news and commercials. They need to change that up.

This article should make Genre or Chucky laugh or burst a vessel. I can’t say I blame them.

“The kicker Fox chose in place of Gould — Connor Barth — blew a potential game-tying kick and was cut. Fox sent out the new kicker to try a 54-yarder instead of letting his potential franchise quarterback, who’s the only reason the rest of this season matters, try to convert a fourth-and-3 from the Eagles 36. Fox’s new kicker missed so badly he needed an Uber to reach the goal posts. Reasons for firing Fox are piling up so ridiculously that the Bears could hold a two-for-one sale.”
Oh, this guy is good, Fro. If the Bears keep Fox, Rosenbloom is going to win the Pulitzer!
December 3, 2017 at 6:40 pm
Fro Dog, you know me too well; I picked up the post game show online. And I miss Doug and OB. I hope a NSFW ghost of Doug Baffone haunts Lovie, Trestman, and Fox for Christmas this year.
As for the latest Rosenblog: to answer that question, see if Fox Sports shows any shots of the Bears’ beloved matriarch. Watch her reaction as the offense goes three and out while the defense gets force-marched on a 10 play, 8 minute drive for a TD.
Really, the woman is 93~94 years old. She’s pretty much waiting for God at this point.

The thing to do? BOYCOTT the PATHETIC Bears dis-organization, until BIG changes are made.
Wouldn’t it be grand if only 3 or 4 thousand bleating sheeple showed up to the next home game? It’s a fantasy, of course…but one can dream!
Fox and Pace are clearly inept. Phillips should have been flushed years ago. Sooooo pathetic.
The McCaskey family should go down as one of the most privileged, inept – and PATHETIC – in the history of professional sports.
Until changes are made…FUCK da Bears.
p.s. I seriously hope that Trubisky can avoid major trauma, in the meantime….

Also, many sincere thanks to Steve Rosenbloom for calling ’em like he sees ’em.
December 4, 2017 at 6:53 pm
To me one thing that stands out about this game is why are the bears not playing shaheen?! He is a 2nd round rookie. At this point wht not throw him out there and let him play!!! Complete ineptitude in regards to player development
December 4, 2017 at 8:46 pm
Well…it’s Monday night, a quarter to ten EST, and guess who hasn’t been fired yet? Go figure.
The new head coach market is not inspiring. Of the other coaches in the hot seat, very little to inspire. Chuck Pagano? Maybe. Not much else from that Sports Illustrated article.
Anybody got ideas? It’s not like Ryan Pace has any…
December 4, 2017 at 9:02 pm
What about Josh McDaniels? He has been a good coordinator for the best team in football. Mike McCoy? Bill laser? What about Todd haley??? He’s been Pittsburgs guy forever. Jon gruden would be nice too.
December 4, 2017 at 11:30 pm
John Fox should have been fired by now. If George McCaskey really cared, he would have fired him and probably Pace as well. This is horse shit.
As far as replacements for head coach, here are my thoughts on the options listed above me:
Chuck Pagano – Not a chance. His only success came when Bruce Arians was the offensive coordinator in Indianapolis.
Josh McDaniels – Remember 2009 and 2010 with the Denver Broncos? That’s all you need to know about McDaniels.
Mike McCoy – This guy failed miserably in San Diego. Yet, another failed head coach.
Bill Laser – A journeyman coordinator. He’s never been a head coach. I’d give this guy a shot.
Todd Haley – I’d rather piss in the 50 mph wind that we’re experiencing right now than have this guy come close to my favorite football team.
Jon Gruden – I saved the best for last. Hey, the guy has a ring as a head coach. Any of the other candidates have one as a head coach? I didn’t think so.
Gruden or Laser would be solid choices. I doubt Gruden would leave his cozy gig as an analyst, however.

Jon gruden wouldn’t leave for the price we would pay him. I also wouldn’t mind getting Jim harbaugh. He led the 9ers to the super bowl with kaepernick. That’s an accomplishment. Darrel bevelle wouldn’t be bad either. Seattle’s offense has been respectable for a while. Lane kiffen would be interesting as well. I think josh McDaniels should get another shot. He’s had more time to learn under Bill belichick and he calls the plays for that offense.
