Virginia shows up: Lions 20 Bears 10

by

I was pretty disinterested with this game from start to finish. Trubisky was very “Bears” with his three interceptions (all in the second half). This just sucked.

Your thoughts in the thread.

John Fox: We now return you to our regularly scheduled program.

The few last remaining sane Bears fans:

    FUCK THIS GODDAMNED TEAM,
    FUCK JOHN FOX
FUCK THE REST OF THE COACHING STAFF
AND FUCK YOU VIRGINIA MCCASKEY FOR NOT SELLING THIS TEAM TO SOMEBODY WHO GIVES A FLYING FUCK ABOUT WINNING A GODDAMNED FOOTBALL GAME!!!!!!

Chucky: Fuck you, you OLD BITCH!!!

  2. Fro Dog Says:

I was going to say Chucky, you are not sane at all. Now, I can see why you aren’t.

    How is that chainsaw?

  3. dvxprime Says:

No Rosenblog as of 7:15 am EST.

Maybe even he’s tired of this shit?

  4. chucky Says:

Fro….it’s gassed up and ready to go. Which is very bad news for anybody with the last of McCaskey.

    Or Phillips.

    Or Fox.

  5. Fro Dog Says:

Rosenbloom had a wedding yesterday and that’s why he wasn’t on his Saturday morning radio show on The Score. But, his article is up.

I hope that stadium is a ghost town on sunday. Sell the team

  7. genrebuster Says:

Sell the team is right…soon I won’t give a flying fuck or a shit.

  8. Cbears523 Says:

I already don’t give a fuck. We are going to lose to the browns this week. I am just hoping they fire Fox’s ass right after the game

  9. Fro Dog Says:

It will make for an entertaining week if the Bears do lose this Sunday.

I can already see it now where Kizer throws for 300 yards and three touchdowns. The defense can’t stop a nose bleed and John Fox will sending out the punting unit on 4th and inches with the game tied. That will lead to a game-winning score by the Browns.

  10. Cbears523 Says:

I hope it happens so there is no doubt in anyone’s mind he should be fired. Plus what’s the point in winning now? We need draft picks. Any wins at this point are meaningless and counter productive

  11. dvxprime Says:

If the Bears lose to the Browns this week, Ryan Pace should personally come down from the owner’s box to BEAT JOHN FOX’S ASS, right there on the field in front of God and everybody.

    Dead serious, gents.

  12. Cbears523 Says:

I would pay good money to see that happen. I bet that fight would just let us all down though

  13. dvxprime Says:

So this is today’s essay question:

The Bears won’t finish low enough to get a top three to top five draft pick, but they will pick in the top ten. We all know they need help with ball catchers and in the secondary. We also know that Ryan pace, despite some promising youngsters, has also built one of the NFL’s three worst rosters for the last two years running. We also know the stupidity in how he moved up to get Trubisky (gave away too much for a reach pick, got no input from John Fox, alienated his $18M free agent QB).

The question is: Do the bears emphasize the draft or player development going forward?

    See below:

I know the Bulls and bears are two different entities. The Bulls current win streak may push them out of a good lottery position, but at least Fred Holberg is trying to find something out of the dozen FNGs and other five “veterans” on his roster. Also, the NBA draft is less of a guarantee every year. It’s basically two rounds of a handful of One-and Dones, a bunch of very good but not great, and by the end of the first round, it’s mostly projects who may be out of the league after three years or so.

The Sixers have been butt for years and right now (season four-plus of The Process) they are just barely over .500. meanwhile, Boston traded for draft picks and got a good coach who was a basketball professor and the Celtics have been winers while the Sixers tanked.

    Jus’ sayin…

  15. Cbears523 Says:

I think if the niners keep winning we have a shot to be the 5th pick. Another helpful thing is this this a qb draft and we have our guy now. We could possibly trade back if a top guy falls down to us. I am all for trading back and collecting picks. The more picks the better. However if a top can’t miss prospect that’s a cb ot or pass rusher falls to us I say take him. I love Notre dames guard too. At this point we have so many needs trading back might be the best option though
