    If only the Cubs could pound the ever living shit out of good teams. Gonna be weird at the end of the season to see a team with one of the highest run differentials in the league but only a few games over .500. I still see a Wildcard berth if they can get out of 4th place, shows how tough and competitive the NL Central is, aside from the dead Reds of course

    Cubs lose another one. 6-5 to the Braves. Quintana is awful again. I got a feeling that trade is going to come awfully close to the Brock for Broligo trade. This organization still makes too many dumb mistakes.

    Theo has a long history of bad pitching acquisitions with Boston. Kind of looking similar here. Great for bats. Pitchers not so much.

    Still too early to make a determination regarding the Cubs chances this year. But, if they can’t start playing consistent baseball before the All-Star break, I’m not sure they can turn it around like they did last year. Their pitching is too inconsistent to be counted on in September.

    Cubs are better than they were a year ago (at this time)…problem is, most of the division is playing well.
