Matt Nagy: “I know we need to run the ball more. I’m not an idiot.”

First half of the game; two different drives

2nd and 2: Pass for an incompletion. Next play, pass for an incompletion. Punt.

Later in the half: 2nd and 2 (again) for an incompletion. Next play, pass for an incompletion. Punt.

Does someone who’s not an idiot pass the ball on a 2nd and short and likewise for the next play?

“I’m not an idiot.”

YES. YOU. ARE.

Matt Nagy: I’m not an idiot.

Dark side of the Internet: Who ya crappin’.

Is it entirely Nagy’s fault that he’s stuck with Pace’s stinker offense though? Boomer Esaison didn’t seem to have any faith in the O line yesterday and when he was on the radio said in response to all the Meatballs demanding runs that if the Bears had done 33 runs they would have had 11 three and outs and a punt? Before placing all the blame on Nagy I’d like to know how culpable his is in the “Turbinsky is an Elite Quarterback” fraud that Pace tried to foist on the world. Or if he privately is pushing for a new QB and has told them the guy can’t play and was blown off by Pace and the Bears ownership?

Could be much worse in delusional fans though, at least the radio Meatballs seem to know Turd Biscuit sucks. I used to live in Oregon and the local AM station I listened to during the week would run “Washington State Cougar Football” on Saturdays. Now this was a time when Oregon was one of the elite teams, and Oregon State also routinely put up a winning team. What does the local Portland radio station serve us up? An out of state team at the time who were perennial cellar dwellers winning one game a year against Southeast Idaho Community College, etc. (Before they got better recently with Garden Minchew.) The games were pure comedy usually ending 50-7. The announcers were so delusional one time in the fourth quarter with Washington State down 44-0 they said “You know, the Coug’s punting game is top notch! I like to think every drive that ends in a kick is a success!” That was about as laughable as any fan delusion about a bad team as I ever heard and probably ever will again, although this Turd Biscuit fiasco still may hold some surprising rock bottoms yet?

I will say it is fair that nagy might not want trubisky. He might be stuck with him. He may want to bench him but management wont let him. Nagy is hamstrung with the plays he can call because mitch cant make simple throws. We better start looking forward to this draft getting another qb it’s all we got at this point

Hey Genre, or Fro…..I think we need a Cubs post, asap. We have a real serious problem on our hands, I’m afraid.

  5. Dave Says:

I’m giving David Ross a pass until he actually screws up significantly. Joe Espada was probably the best choice but lets see what Ross does.

  6. genrebuster Says:

I was initially optimistic (Nagy as coach)…but this shit is beyond disappointing.

  7. genrebuster Says:

new Cubs post is up…let it rip, my frendts.

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
