Here’s some good news for Illini fans. Lovie “This wasn’t a must win game” has just been shitcanned. How about that boys?

To be honest, I was willing to give Lovie Lee and the F’n Illini a pass for 2020, because COVID and all. I was willing to give him a chance next year with a full year to recruit and train the squad and get a better chance at contending (or atlas trying for 7-5) in ’21.

Going 0-3 against “bitter in-state rival” Northwestern (barely relevant and maybe a few more winning seasons than U of I lately)? That’s a pretty low bar.

Oh, well…it is what it is.

Meanwhile, the Bears overrunning a demoralized opponent with little to play for? Not really. My stance is the same: Fire Teddy-bear, fire Pace, and fire Nagy and the rest of the coaches as soon as the clock reads 0:00 on Packers-Bears.

The Bears rebounding to run the table the rest of the way will not change my stance either.

You know what I really, REALLY want? Like, right now?

I want Hamp and O’B, and every former Chicago Bear who still cares and is truly PISSED about the current direction of this franchise…to convoy down to Halas Hall, storm Ted Phillips’ office, and personal demand that he resign…effective immediately.

Matter of fact, I want Hamp and O’B to do a special live show doing just that, WGN 670 the Score and the rest of the Chicago media ass-kissers be damned.

  4. Dave Says:

Game is 4 touchdowns out of reach for the Texans and the Bears still have Mitch passing instead of handing off. Just run the ball and run out the clock! Fire this whole coaching staff!

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
