Are the Cubs selling out?

by

Yes, I’ve Seen the Bryant-Hendricks, Cubs-Blue Jays Trade Rumor … Sigh

If they trade Bryant AND Hendricks, I’ll have to think thrice about Jed Hoyer, and the Cubs ownership. Are they trying to compete with the Bears?

Trading Hendricks makes no sense…he’s not a velocity pitcher, his ‘age’ should not be a factor. And they’ve traded Darvish already. What’s next?

I hope the Cubs don’t go the way of the Bear!!

I’m getting the impression that they’re going to dismantle the team, and try to get prospects back in return. But I’m not as hopeful now as I was when Theo did it. Trading Hendricks is crazy, and I think the fans would go apeshit if they pulled the trigger on that deal. I think he was pissed on in game 7 of the World Series by Joe Maddon. I think he deserves a break. Maddon came very close to blowing that game. It pisses me off thinking about it now.

Fro, it looks to me like the Cubs have given up on being contenders for the next five to ten years or so. Oh well, we always will have Paris…I mean 2016.

Hey fellas, here is some good news….as least for me…

“The Major League Baseball Players Association has turned down the latest MLB proposal for the universal designated hitter and an expanded playoff format, sources confirmed to ESPN.”

I hate the DH and I wish they would abandon it, and I am against more playoff games. What do they want to do have rhe World Series in late November in the snow? I am thankful the players have more sense than the owners in this instance.

Ernie, I agree with you on DH, expanded playoffs.

Jack is right, at least when it concerns the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, or Blackhawks. I shudder at the thought of becoming a White Sox fan. I’d rather be in Cardinals nation, and you guys know how much I hate those fucktards.
