I’ve barely paid attention to the depth chart. I guess that’s what happens when the season is going to be horseshit. No expectations in a positive manner are here. It’s all pessimism and rightfully so. This team sucks. And the worst part is that there is one extra game this season. Fuck Roger Goodell and the owners for letting that happen.
The Bald-Headed Dipshit doesn’t use football common sense by running the ball. What makes me or anyone else think that he will all-of-a-sudden, smarten up? The offensive line sucks. I am sure the defense will be the status-quo as well by giving up big plays right before halftime or at the end of the game that ends up being the difference.
I will be in Los Angeles watching this garbage in person. I will try to put an open thread up before the game since I may not be able to do the recap until the next day at the earliest. We all know what is going to happen.

Fro Dog, I would sell my ticket to that game , why put out all that money to see the Bears get Slammed by the Rams ,my prediction 31-6 Rams. Season record 4-13 and we’ll get another Moron as GM and he’ll hire another moron as Head coach because that’s been the Bears history since the McCaskeys took control of the team! Sorry to be so negative but that’s what the Bears do and have done!

Look on the bright side Fro. With another shitshow season on deck this is bound to be the end of Nagy and Pace. But, unfortunately, as Paul correctly points out, with the dipshit McCaskeys, when it comes to hiring GMs and head coaches, it’s lather, rinse, repeat. Over, and over, and over……..again and again. I’m hoping Hamp and OB survive this season. Sunday night at 11 pm should be entertaining to say the least.

Chucky, did WGN (or whomever) put the Hamp and OB show back on Sunday nights AFTER THE GAME? Y’know, like POST GAME SHOWS ARE SUPPOSED TO DO?
So, checking out Laurence Holmes on 670theScore’s website, and he basically asked five preseason questions:
1) Can Nagy quit being such a bonehead as an in-game head coach?
2) Issues on the offensive line (a 38 y/o starting at left tackle. Dear God.)
3) Our “elite defense” lost a step in the pass rush last year
4) Except for maybe one dude…what secondary? (“Elite” defense? Really)
5) Provided Dalton/Fields/whomever isn’t laid on his back, who is he gonna throw it to?
In other words, the same five questions nagging at the Bears every year since Mike Ditka was fired so long ago.

dvx, The only answer I can give you is for week one, and that answer is yes! I checked their detailed schedule, and they’re penciled in for 10:30 Sunday night. After that, who knows with those boneheads. WGN, whether it’s TV or radio, is still a fucked up mess. There’s no rhyme or reason to what they do. Nexstar hasn’t done jack shit in improving things over there. Case in point: Tom FUCKING Skilling is STILL drawing a goddamned paycheck. Frankly, if I owned that station, at least half of their crew would be shitcanned.
