Bears vs. Vikings Thread

by

Fuck this team. I’m missing a game for the first time in years. I’m in Milwaukee for Monday Night Raw instead. Yes, Raw is utter trash and I’m choosing that over the Bears. Let that sink in.

I may watch some of this game on my phone. But there won’t be a recap. Throw in your own thoughts if you desire.

FIRE TED PHILLIPS. FIRE RYAN PACE. FIRE MATT NAGY.

I saw ya dude! Front row again. Hope you brought your “Fire Ryan Pace” sign with you!

  2. John Says:

I’m not going to be watching the game either, mostly because I don’t have ESPN. Oh, well. It’s meaningless at this point anyway. I can use the time for better.

  3. Mark Johnson Says:

Dudes and any dudettes that may be reading this. The game is on ABC local. It isn’t terrible. I can actually stand it now that I can look at Nagy and the shots of Pace in his box (mask on his chin, of course) and think….YUP…your ass is going to be working at a Division 3 school next year.
2 fumbles so far in first half. Justin Fields has issues.

  4. genrebuster Says:

    What a fucking shitshow. PATHETIC.

  5. genrebuster Says:

    Hahahahahahaha!!!!

    Yet another turnover.

    So PATHETIC!!!

    Flush the toilet, McCaskey!

  6. chucky Says:

I think you made the right choice Fro. The Bears game must be a real shitshow. I can’t watch it on TV, I don’t have cable, only over the air, and ABC 7 isn’t coming in. I caught the sports report from WGN TV, while I watch Raw on my computer.. Fucking bullshit digital conversion. I could have a nice, sunny day and some channels won’t come in. An airplane flying overhead can disrupt a signal. And yet I have gotten everything in a snowstorm. It makes no sense at all.

  7. Paul Says:

Do the McCaskeys even care about the horrible display of football we see every week , they must not because they do NOTHING to remedy it!! Maybe they’re too busy counting their pennies! Get ready for the cluster fuck that’s going to happen when they go about hiring another group of DUMB Motherfuckers to repacle the current ones!!

  8. John Says:

It does not appear that much was missed. 4-10. NY Giants are going to have back-to-back top 10 draft picks. Justin Fields will not be fully realized this season, that’s for sure.

  9. Fro Dog Says:

Did the Bears really fail to score in the red zone three times? I watched bits of it on the phone.

    Un-fucking-believable.

  10. chucky Says:

I seriously think O’Bradovich may well have a heart attack tonight. I can’t remember him this pissed off. He’s going to blew a blood vessel in his skull if he’s not careful.

  11. John Says:

Whoo! We’ve been eliminated from postseason contention!

  12. chucky Says:

John, that ship sailed after week 1. They were never in contention this year.

  13. Fro Dog Says:

I’m trying to figure out how the Bears failed to score four times in the red zone last night. I said three last night, but was corrected after checking the stats (cue Yeti).

Nagy and his horseshit offense can’t even get a yard. That’s been a problem his entire tenure. And he can display his “FIRE AND PASSION” all he wants on the sidelines. It doesn’t mean shit.

If he truly cares about this franchise, he will go to George himself and resign. George is too stupid to make changes now. The bald-headed dipshit should turn in his resignation today.

FroDog…In the first half Montgomery had a ball stripped inside the 20. Fields lost a ball that was punched out while he was running (around Vikings 45). Santos did kick a field goal (about 30-35 yards) and then had another tipped by Vikings lineman and ie went down and away…missed by 5 yards length.
Note we had a Nagy discipline penalty. I read this morning that the Referee found his remark so degrading that he included it in his game write up to New York. If you think the officials aren’t gunning for Nagy’s team…think again. Also we had that lineman named Gibson or Gipson…not the safety, the DL, start to walk off the field as it was 4th down for the Vikings. He then turned around, walked five yards back to mid-field and struck a Vikings player that was standing next to an official. FIRST DOWN VIKINGS!
Matt Nagy has undisciplined players..last year against the Saints and most of this year in my opinion.

Second half….Damien Williams block a Viking punt at the 3 yard line but it rolled out to the 34. We got it to fourth and 1 and Montgomery had to go off with a helmet issue. Mooney was in the back field, Fields I think wanted to hand off to him but he went out on a route, then Fields tried to run to the short side of the field, LOST 4 yards.
We hold the Vikings offence and they punt to Byrd and he muffs it (Grant out with concussion concerns). The Bears defense played well and some of these no name replacements that were in for Covid listed guys also did well. Kinda wondering why some of these DBs are on the practice squad until now.
Bears had a great drive toward 7 minute mark of 4th quarter, but Graham let a TD catch get knocked out of his hands and Darnell Mooney caught one but only 1 foot in bounds. The last drive was nice also and the tight end the refuse to play came down with a TD at the goal line with no time left.
I won’t even go into the number of fights penalties, ejections, etc that went on all night.
I love the broadcast crew. They called out the McCaskey family, George McCaskey and Ryan Pace for this shit show NUMEROUS times. They mentioned that the Vikings…NOT THAT GOOD!

  15. Paul Says:

Fro Dog , You know as well as I do NOTHING will EVER change with the McCaskey clan , you’re going to see another Cluster Fuck hiring after they hopefully fire everyone including Ted Phillips but the new hires will be clones of every previous hire!! I guarantee it!!

  16. genrebustergenre Says:

Mark Johnson. Great summary! Even though I almost puked reading it…hahahahahahahahaha!

  17. Mark Johnson Says:

I appreciate the props. Writing it was no picnic. Like I said earlier, watching is actually a little easier now knowing Nagy has a “Coast Guard Academy or Bust” sign on his car.

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
