Apologies for not being here much as my life has been absolutely hectic. Obviously, we’re in a period where much isn’t going on with the Bears. Free agency will be in the middle of March with the Draft happening at the end of April.

Chucky mentioned a few weeks back that the Bears are raising ticket prices for the upcoming season. What else is new? The Bears can’t bother to put competent coaches in charge and haven’t been a serious contender since I was in college. Yet, they want to charge you more money?

Fire away.

  1. MJ Says:

Ryan Pace is now the Senior Personnel Executive of the Atlanta Falcons. Another great hire by another great team.

  2. Fro Dog Says:

You weren’t kidding. Holy shit. He joined Phil Emery in Atlanta.

  3. chucky Says:

Well son of a bitch! What do you know? There ARE teams dumber than the fucking Bears. You’d think other teams would learn from the Bears fuck ups, but noooooooo, they pull the same bonehead hall of fame worthy moves! The Falcons just set themselves back for the next 15-20 years. Don’t believe me? Just look at the next five years of Bears draft picks, or lack of them, to be more specific. The Bears are going to have spend the 10 years at least digging out of the holes they’ve dug for themselves. Maybe more.

  4. Mark Johnson Says:

But wait there’s more. With the Ryan Pace hire you also get for the low, low price of $19.99 the hire of Matt Nagy as Senior Assistant/Quarterbacks coach for your Kansas City Chiefs!!
I’m sure based on his De-velopment of quarterbacks in Chicago.
Can we get both these guys a leadership position in the Russian Army?? Da Tuvarich??

  5. chucky Says:

God fucking damn! Nobody in the NFL wants to win anymore! How fucking stupid are the Chiefs? So stupid they will make the same goddamned mistake TWICE!!!!!!!

    My head hurts.

  6. mark johnson Says:

Chucky…Chiefs will survive it because they have a real head coach checking Nagy’s plan, won’t let him humiliate the players, and the quarterback down in Kansas City just makes plays despite the geniusness of the organization.

  7. genrebuster Says:

    Nagy to KC!

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    How happy is Patrick Mahomes?

  8. Fro Dog Says:

I think this is proof that there are many other NFL dis-organizations out there. Glad we’re not alone.

  9. chucky Says:

Actually Fro, it really doesn’t make me feel any better. If we had competent ownership the Bears could romp over every other team. Instead we’re stuck with this clown show, and ranked in the lower end of the overall NFL rankings. It’s quite depressing.

  10. Fro Dog Says:

So true, my man. So true.

I hate this franchise. It’s brought nothing but disappointment.

  11. chucky Says:

They haven’t been the same since they fired Ditka. Almost 30 years ago now. I nearly walked away from them back then.

  12. chucky Says:

Hey Fro, I know I asked you before about the June 5th WWE PPV at the Allstate Arena. Well, I just read that it’s going to be Hell in a Cell, or at least there will be a HiaC match on the card. Did you me tell if you were going or not? I’m sorry, I just don’t remember.

  13. Fro Dog Says:

    Chuckster!

I will be there. I am also going to the Raw in two weeks as well as WrestleMania Sunday. I have a lot else going on in life as well.

I found out in 2020 that I’ve basically had a deviated septum since I was a kid. I was a dumbass and completely missed the football tee a friend was tossing to me to kick the ball off back in the day. It hit me right in the nose and broke it. I’m having surgery to fix that because it’s causing me chronic sinus infections and breathing issues. That’s slated for May.

  14. chucky Says:

Damn Fro, I wish I could meet up with you there! Hell In A Cell is the last day at Road America for me, Money is really tight, and I really need to save as much as I can, especially with the rising gas prices. We WILL see a show together one day!

Best of luck on your surgery, my fitness frendt! That one doesn’t sound like fun. I’ll send a good thought your way pal. I really am not a religious guy, so hopefully you get only good vibes. Hope it all works out for you!

  15. genrebuster Says:

Fro, I might make a trip to Chicago in May…let me know in advance when you might be able to meet me in the city as I won’t have a
    car.

  16. Fro Dog Says:

    Chucky,

We should meet up with Genre if he’s back in May. I should be good to go after May 12th or so. Anything after towards the end of the month should be good for me.

  17. Dave Says:

Ryan Poles already making waves. Khalil Mack to Chargers for draft picks. Tarik Cohen released due to failed physical, so much for human joystick. Eddie Goldman may be next.

    https://www.audacy.com/670thescore/sports/chicago-bears/ryan-poles-might-just-be-the-ruthless-gm-the-bears-need?fbclid=IwAR33OLddPMCSi580UBSKt5Bnx6uRF0SBKegNaX9tEfSea9pFoB-hA-zmcIo

  18. chucky Says:

I’ll see what I can do Fro. I still want to meet up with you at the Allstate Arena some day! Did you hear about Big E last night? God only knows how long he’ll be on the shelf, if his career isn’t over. So much for Ridge Holland’s push.

  19. Mark Johnson Says:

Dave–I have been watching also. Tarik Cohen was always to small…another Ryan Pace idea. Eddie Goldman might be next but I would say Robert Quinn, Eddie Jackson and Allen Robinson are in their cars with the motor running.
Robert Quinn might have another good year in him because we are going back to a 4-3 defense which he really excelled in as a Ram.

You might know after it took 2 years to get the players for a 3-4, we are now moving back to a 4-3 defense with lots of Cover 2 looks….just like we had in 2012.. McCaskey just sits back going “How can I make this harder?”

  20. chucky Says:

Fro, some sad news. Scott Hall passed away today, age 63. Way too soon.

    RIP Bad Guy.

  21. Fro Dog Says:

Hey man. I watched Raw and that’s where the confirmation came from. I was paying attention all day to get updates.

Insane. Met the guy twice and saw him get inducted into The Hall of Fame in 2014. It was an awesome speech. It’s a really sad day for wrestling.

  22. chucky Says:

Yes it is. I saw him wrestle at Superclash 85 at the old Comiskey Park. This one stings.

SHOW DA FIRE AND PASSION, MY FRENDT!
