I think most of us were shocked that he took a job at the college level with North Carolina. Does anyone else think he would have been interested if management was competent? He probably saw the disaster from afar and thought better of it.
That leaves Lions’ offensive coordinator Ben Johnson as the only legitimate option as of now. I highly doubt Bills’ offensive coordinator Joe Brady would be available. I don’t want Mike Vrabel, Marcus Freeman.
Regardless, expect the Bears to make the wrong decision by hiring an unknown coordinator and annointing him “a leader of men.”
Fuck Kevin Warren.

I seriously doubt that Belichick would touch the Bears job with a mile long pole. (No pun intended) I’m not sold that he’d be the right fit anyway. Too old. Honestly, I can’t think of any experienced head coach who would want this job. The McCaskeys have completely poisoned this organization to the point that the only people who would take this job are idiots who are willing to be led by the nose.

Apparently, the Bears weren’t even interested in talking to Belichick. That is unbelievable that they refused to even make a call out. The lack of common sense Kevin Warren has is asinine.
And to answer your question from the last thread, the chainsaw needs to be filled with gas and ready.

I mean, I’m sad that we won’t get the chance of seeing how ‘the Hoodie’ would fare and what he would try to do, but I have a feeling that, as you say, Bears management would get in the way, and that his relationship with Caleb Williams would be little better than his and Mac Jones.
It’s a different world, different league, and Bill might be better suited for working with a QB that he has a long and extensive relationship with e.g. Brady. If you look at his coaching gigs before Brady, they are pretty similar to what he looked like after Brady. Which is to say, he is good at fostering an enduring system with established key players, less so with cultivating and farming one out from scratch.

Fro, you have got to read this. I’ll tell you, Ryan FUCKING Poles should be kicked in the goddamned nuts with a pair of steel-toe shoes. This useless piece of shit isn’t qualified to sell beer in the stands. He doesn’t have a fucking clue!

You know, I heard that story the other day on the radio. I just couldn’t believe it. I find it only apporpriate that the Bears hired a coach who was just fired from another team for their shitty play.
The Bears enjoy hiring people who are “nice guys.” Fuck that. We dealt with that shit when Lovie was coaching. Nobody questioned his kindness as a human. I don’t fucking care if the next coach is an asshole. Find someone who can actually coach a team. Even that has been proven difficult over the years.

I found it completely believable. We’re talking about the goddamned Bears here.
