Well, I am back. The Illini promptly shit the bed and the Bears are intending on staying irrelevant. So here is some news that made me giggle in the last couple weeks. Dianna Russini has now resigned from her position at The Athletic after being caught violating ethics for what seems to be the umpteenth time. This time, it was her being seen with Mike Vrabel at some adult resort in Sedona, Arizona. For those who don’t know this HOOR!, Dianna has been covering the NFL for at least the last 11 years. She worked at ESPN for many years covering various NFL teams and went to The Athletic a few years back.
I trust my “sources” when it comes to this. I know of others who not only work have worked in Chicago media, but have worked in other markets as well. But this is not Dianna Russini’s first rodeo when it comes to violating ethics at her job by sleeping with people she isn’t allowed to. Over a decade ago, she was outed for sleeping with the general manager of the Redskins. Later on, she goes to ESPN. And it was the same crap. Constantly dressing like she is a $200 per hour hooker on TV. There were even rumors of her with a certain assistant coach back then when she was in D.C. This current story is only furthering that confirmation.
This is the issue I have: You can sleep with whomever you want. Go right ahead. However, if your job includes a list of rules such as, I don’t know, sleeping with people you are reporting on, then that may not be a good idea.
She was married a few years ago and has two kids. Now, I am not married and never will do so. I had a couple of relationships in my life that both turned out to be nightmares due to poor decision-making on both my part and the counterpart. I am happy finding some lady I am friends with and leaving it with that even these days.
I find all of this to be entertaining. Again, there is a difference between sleeping with someone because you are attracted to the person and then doing it because you are trying to get a story or whatever. If she is doing the latter, then she is a bigger HOOR! than previously thought. I wrote about some of these other women in media years ago about how they use their bodies to get jobs. If someone wants to come here and call me a “misogynist,” suck my dick. I am right about all of this. Use your brain and actual work skills to achieve your goals. Dianna Russini is another in a long list that hasn’t and doesn’t seem to either. I am here to see her downfall.

Oh dude, I wouldn’t call her a “HOOR!”. That’s just a bit harsh, in my humble opinion.
Call her a fuckin’ hose bag. Much better, and it kind of just rolls off the tongue, don’t you think?
Good to see you haven’t given up the ship, friend. I’ve kind of missed our back-n-forth conversations the past month.

CHUCKSTER!
As you can tell, my life has been hectic with both personal and sports. It’s why I was absent.
I’ve just been working quite a bit more these days since I am still short an employee. I refuse to hire anyone else for the time being since the last one I had was fucking rotten.
I will try to be around more and especially since the draft is nine days away. I am not going to WrestleMania this weekend as I decided to skip out. I cannot stand these damn TKO executives. I’ll be watching for free on TV.
Last thing: Dianna has some amazing tits. I would have taken care of her and she wouldn’t be in any trouble. It’s her fault for going to some resort to go with another married guy.

Hello Friend
Round 1 of the NFL draft begins tonight, Fro. I was just wondering what you’re expecting to come this draft class, and if you think the Bears top brass will fuck this up as usual. Personally, I’m not optomistic for this draft, and for the upcoming 2026-27 season. They’re going to get a tough schedule, and with all the last second wins they had last season, I’m expecting more nation-wide televised games this year, despite the fact that those wins were against shitty teams. And we all know how well that works out. I haven’t heard anything yet, but I’m thinking they’ll maybe get the Thanksgiving Day game in Detroit. I always get nervous over those games. Remember the one game on Thanksgiving where the Lions racked up 55 on the Bears? A long time ago, yes, but I not sold on this team yet. Here’s my GUESS on their opponants:
Home Games
Detroit Lions…………………..Win
Green Bay Packers…………Loss
Minnesota Vikings…………Loss
Tampa Bay Buccaneers…Toss-up, probably a loss
Philadelphia Eagles……….Loss
Jacksonville Jaguars………Surprising Win
New York Jets…………………Win
New England Patriots……Loss
New Orleans Saints……….Loss
Home record – 3-6
———————————————————–
Away Games
Detroit Lions……………………Loss
Green Bay Packers………….Loss
Minnesota Vikings………….Win
Buffalo Bills……………………..Loss
Miami Dolphins………………Loss
Atlanta Falcons……………….Toss-up, leaning towards Win
Carolina Panthers……………Loss
Seattle Seahawks……………Blowout Loss
Road Record – 2-6
There you have it Fro. This is my early/mid offseason prediction, the Bears will be 5-12 this season. I think that the Bears will be think the magic that Caleb Williams had last year against shitty teams will run dry this year because they’re playing a higher caliber of opponents. It’s going to be a very long season, and I suspect there’ll be a lot of injuries they’ll need to navigate through. I know I’ve been really shitty predicting anything with the Bears, but I just can’t help thinking this will be a lost season.
Thoughts, people……….

Pick 25: Bears select Dillon Thieneman from Oregon. The best available player on the board at that pick With the ability to run 40yds in 4.3 seconds, he is likely the fastest safety in the draft, brings much needed speed to the Bears secondary along with the signing of Coby Bryant. Can tackle hard, catch interceptions, keep up with the fastest receivers, and also stop the run. Good pick.

Why the fuck did we just draft a tight end?

Dave,
We will see how this guy does. Let’s pray he can actually cover a wide receiver in the NFL. It’s a big difference between college and pro.
CS,
Because Ryan Poles has a fetish for shitty backup quarterbacks and countless tight ends.
