I wasn’t expecting the Bears to win this game let alone have a chance in it. Let’s not put all of the blame on Rex. He is a part of the reason why the Bears lost this game. The main reason for this loss was the defense playing like shit again. Yes, they stopped the run. When the Titans realized that, they stopped running and started to pass. Kerry Collins picked apart this defense once again. It is making me think that firing Ron Rivera was a dumb move. This lies on Lovie Smith and Jerry Angelo. These two people are not only ignorant but they are stubborn.
They stopped running the football in the 3rd quarter and the defense let Collins pass all over the place. 30/41 for 289 yards? This was the first game Collins threw over 200 yards. Another week goes by and this pass defense is still brutal and pathetic.
Next up: The Bears play the NASCAR fans to the North at Lambeau Field next Sunday. Maybe the Bears can steal one on the road and put a little distance between themselves and Green Bay/Minnesota.

I generally don’t expect very much from the Bears anymore, They usually don’t disappoint me there. Today was no exception.
You asked what was wrong with this team FroDog. Three words for you: LOVIE FUCKING SMITH. The stupid, ignorant piece of shit in the middle of your picture there. Quite honestly, this is easily solved: FIRE THIS GODDAMN BASTARD! The problem is his contract all but prohibits the tight-wad Bears from firing his clueless ass. And yes, Jerry Angelo needs to go too.
The Bears have enough talent, had enough talent, and will get even more talent that they should be able to walk away from the rest of this division. Yet, they fight and claw and struggle to just about every win they get.
I swear, Lovie is getting pointers from Dusty Baker.
To quote genre: PATHETIC!!!!!

Chucky,
I said before the season started that AT BEST, this team is 8-8. Because this division is bad, that record might be good enough to get into the playoffs.
We all know that if the Bears win this division, it will be by default.

Dear Lovie,
My family and I invite you and yours to spend Thanksgiving with us at our home. There will be plenty of food and the main course is “jive turkey”, dude.
Best regards, Dusty

The word from Colin Cowherd on ESPN radio on Friday is that MLB will NEVER allow Mark Cuban to buy the Cubs from Shitbag Zell. That be the case, the Cubs are history as far as I’m concerned. What right does that asshole Selig have in deciding who gets the team, and the hell with all the chicken-shit MLB owners who are sooooooo afraid of Cuban. I’ve heard it said that the dumbest NFL owner is still smarter than the smartest MLB owner. How true. Any comments on the McCaskeys anyone?

Guys, remember this- Lovie was an assitant coach under Don Morton at the U. of Wisconsin. Don Morton, the guy who almost single-handedly destroyed football at the UW with the feared Veer Offense. Veer, a 4-letter word that is not allowed to be spoken in Madison to this day. Lovie looks like the “deer in the headlights” idiot like Ray Rhodes did in his one year in Green Bay. Fuckin’ clueless!

MadCityMac,
Thanks for the info. I had no idea Lovie was an assistant in college.
Ray Rhodes! Ha. I remember that year where the Packers really sucked then Sherman got hired right after that. That had to suck!

All kidding aside, I wish Selig would be replaced. How can he be an owner AND the MLB commissioner? And WTF is the problem with Cuban owning the Cubs? He already owns an NBA team and has proven he can handle it. If he has the funds to buy the team and operate it withing the parameters required, I see no problem. Does one have to be an asskisser supreme to own a MLB team?
Hell, I submit that the current Cubs ownership is the most GREEDY, FUCKED UP, INEPT, SCUMBAG, SOULESS, HEARTLESS and PATHETIC ownership group of any professional sports franchise in my lifetime.

…and the McCaskey’s are stinking bums, too.

“Al Davis”… HA HA
November 11, 2008 at 4:39 pm
DaBears- good point! Al Davis is a certified loonbag! I don’t think he’s stupid, but I do think he’s crazy, insane, whatever. I think if Goodell could do it, he’d take the franchise away from Davis.
November 12, 2008 at 3:12 am
I’d like to see Goodell kick Selig’s ass.

Dear Mr. Davis,
Thank You for making that recent coaching change, life is so much better now and we are happy.
