Milton Bradley…Just when i thought the Cubs couldn’t get any more stupid…they did….I am going to love leaving posts all year long on CBS about how this team will never win everything…My personal Favorite is when one guy never fails to tell me I should kill myself because I was a pathetic fan……

  2. genrebuster Says:

…yet another week goes by…and the Cubs are still owned by Zell and the Tribune.

  3. captain1kirk Says:

I like Milton Bradley on the Cubs because he is not lovable.

  4. MadCityMac Says:

He has an attitude- we need more of that. The Lovable Loser shit has to end and it has to end with Shitbag Zell selling NOW!

  5. genrebuster Says:

You guys make a good point on Bradley. I’m not convinced he can keep it together…but he has come through before in the postseason, unlike A-Ram and SorryONo…

The lovable loser era is over, at least for me.

Maybe Bradley will get pissed off and deck Piniella if he starts managing like a sleep walker again (playoffs)…or maybe he’ll push Hendry or Zell down the stairs…that might sell some tickets.

  6. chucky Says:

I’d buy a ticket to see that.

  7. MadCityMac Says:

Anybody else hear that the Padres re-signed Pussy Prior to a minor-league contract? Where is their class A club these days? A-ball is about all he can handle anymore. Think of the poor pitching coach down there doing the towel drill with him.

  8. genrebuster Says:

Mac, who is this Prior that you speak of? …oh yeah….THAT guy!

At one time, I thought he was going to be one of the greats…guess I missed the boat on that one.

“Lawrence! More towels! Waaaah waaaaaah waaaaaaah”

  9. ksmc2000 Says:

I read recently that the towel drill is actually a signal to aliens alerting them if it’s safe to land on earth or not. Captain Kirk would know more about this phenomena.

  10. robert Says:

    lets see the cubs offseason
1 let the heart of the franchise go Kerry Wood
    2 trade derosa
    3 sign aaron miles
4 deal a consistent 12-15 game winner in Jason Marquis for a guy who is a complete head case
    5 sign Milton Bradley
6 turn down the chance to add a bona fide stud who is the leader of a franchise Jake Peavy

  11. MadCityMac Says:

    Keith, nice!!

  12. Dave Says:

Well, they re-signed Cedeno for another year at 825,000. I liked his improvement last year, and he was well deserving of that salary if not a little more. Say what you want about him, but he came through in the clutch last year, especially with that one grand slam in April.

  13. chucky Says:

Are any of you guys getting an e-mail notice whenever some one makes a post? I started getting them about 4 or 5 posts ago. It’s kind of annoying.

  14. Ron Santo's Legs Says:

Chucky – Is it possible you probably checked the box below where you put your comments at the bottom of the page?

  15. chucky Says:

That was it, Legs. Thank you. I have no idea how or why that box got checked.

  16. The Ghost Of Leo Durocher Says:

boo boo boo boo boo boo boo

towel drills, boxes checked, zell, hendry…take your pick…time to roll over again…
